PROCONSERVATISM
PROCONSTITUTION
Mine is pretty self-explanatory. I was having a hard time coming up with one. So, I went simple.
It is, however, merely one of MY initials. Heh!
Got out of the service, got a job repo’ing boats. Based out of Nassau. Property crime and drugs got bad, parents getting older, came back to the mainland 4 years ago. Still keep a place on Eleuthera, but home base is on FL’s Treasure Coast.

One of my many, many college nicknames, the genesis and evolution of which is too lengthy to explain (not to mention boring and silly).
Jeeves the butler from Wodehouse’s novels - and the brilliant Fry and Laurie TV series. The man who knows everything...and I have often been described as a know-it-all. :)
First, click on my name. Then I’ll explain the joke
My FReeper name is my bank’s fault. I needed a screen name there long ago. I wanted to use Chuck as in ground and also drill. But Chuck was already taken. So I started trying different variations of Chuck. Turns out upchuck wasn’t taken.
When I got to FR in 2001, my bank screen name followed me.
Was in the middle of signing up when I spilled my coffee.
exit82—my exit # off the Garden State Parkway in NJ when I lived there.
In NJ when folks ask where you live, they ask “What exit”?
Usually means which exit off the GSP, the NJ Turnpike, or one of the Interstates.
Fiji Hill towers over the Northeast Los Angeles community of Eagle Rock. Occidental College, where I earned an AB degree in history, sits on its western slope.
After the best dog I’ve ever had
I started out as “60 in 06”. I was so distressed Nanzi took over the House and Dingy the Senate, I became “depress in 06”. Obummer has not helped.
The nephew of Leonidas. A fictional character and one of the last group to fall in battle.
I'm really kinda embarrassed to talk about it, but here goes:
I played football at The University of Oklahoma. I'd really rather not say exactly when. Let's just say it was in the last century.
I was only a consensus all-American for three seasons, but I made all-conference for five.
I played several different positions, wherever the coaches needed me.
After finishing school with a double major in Petroleum Engineering and World History, I eschewed the NFL and joined the Navy, where I was a hand-to-hand combat instructor for the SEALS.
After a time, I eventually went to flight training and flew F-4 Phantom jets in the fleet.
After my eyesight changed and I was not able to fly any more, I left the Navy and returned to OU and finished my PhD in American Studies.
I still never miss a game, although I've had to refuse numerous invitations to join the coaching staff.
But like I said, because of my sense of modesty I'm still a little embarrassed to talk about it all.
I hate commies.
Certainly you jest!
I wonder where I got my screen name? ;-)
Can anyone guess?
It is my maiden name.
Zirondelle is Cajun for dragonfly.
main reason I picked it is to remind me of Deut 31:8
“The LORD himself goes before you and will be with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged.”
