The Obama administration is stonewalling Congress by refusing to cooperate with congressional inquiries into how $1.3 billion was sent to Iran as part of the deal to release our hostages.
We already know that $400 million in cash was delivered as part of a $1.7-billion settlement of an outstanding debt owed to Iran. But how the rest of that money was delivered and whom it was delivered to remains a mystery.
The question is important, if only to show that the Obama administration lied about why it was necessary to make a cash payment to the Islamic Republic. They insist that the cash payment was necessary because there were no banking ties between the two countries that would facilitate a normal wire transfer of the funds.
But if the $1.3 billion was wired to Iran, it would blow up the administration's story and raise further questions about paying cash to a terrorist regime.

Maybe afraid they’ll find an overseas bank account set up for receivership of the funds for Iran with the Ayatollah, ValJar and Obama listed as the signors on the account.

I'm still wondering why we needed to reach a "Settlement" with Iran when the original agreement was with the Shah of Iran and He was overthrown by radicals.
If we had an agreement with Germany and the NAZI Party rose to power again, would we still have to honor that agreement?
IT’S OUR MONEY!!! We have a right to know how and why this president is funding Iran’s military buildup. The US House of Representatives is the branch of government in charge of spending OUR MONEY. Under our Constitution, the president does not have that right. If Republican congressmen don’t do their job, they should be fired in November.
Holy crap! Can you just imagine if a Republican Admin had tried to get away with even 1/100th of the criminality that this Admin has done??? We need a new Media that is investigative and unbiased.....I blame the Media and the Republicans in Congress with Obama, et al, being able to do anything they have wanted to do over the last 7+ years! Congress should refuse to fund anything else until he answers the questions. They control the funds, not Obama.
Too bad we don’t have Congressmen with cojones.
Patriots, do not be deceived by Congress making last-term, “useful idiot” Obama out to be THE bad guy in this issue.
More specifically, noting that the Founding States gave the “power of the purse” uniquely to the House of Representatives as evidenced by the Constitution’s Clause 1 of Section 7 of Article I, corrupt Congress is constitutionally responsible for the $1.3 billion, imo, that lawless Obama sent to Iran.
Patriots also need to wise up to the problem that corrupt Congress is exploiting the 22nd Amendment by letting 2nd-term, lawless presidents get away with doing all kind of unconstitutional things.
Remember in November !
Patriots need to support Trump / Pence by also electing a new, state sovereignty-respecting Congress that will not only work within its constitutional Article I, Section 8-limited powers to support Trump’s vision for making America great again for everybody, but will put a stop to Congress blaming everybody but itself for its unconstitutional mischief.
Note that such a Congress will also probably be willing to fire state sovereignty-ignoring activist justices.
I don’t even have to look to know where the money went. It went to Muslim Brotherhood/ Clinton Foundation point man who split the money between Iran and the Clintons. For the 50% handed to the Clintons, Iran got details on nuke operations and missile technology.
