The Pentagon warned the Syrian regime Monday it is prepared to shoot down planes threatening US-led coalition forces in northern Syria, but stopped short of declaring a no-fly zone.
US military officials reacted furiously last week after jets from the regime of President Bashar al-Assad targeted Kurdish forces and coalition advisers fighting Islamic State jihadists around the northeastern city of Hasakeh.
The US military scrambled fighters on at least two occasions to ward off the Syrian planes, but neither incident resulted in air-to-air contact.

Coalition? What coalition? Did I miss a UN security council vote? did I miss a congressional authorization of force?
This is a rabble of jihadi banditti, with Americans mixed in to declare a no fly zone so we can continue our evil work. Its crap to put our men there to work FOR the jihadi side, and to act as human shields. That’s all they are.

By what authority are our military forces in Syria? The only legitimate government in Syria is the Assad regime, and the only outside force that Assad has invited into Syria is Russia. It is hard for me to believe how things have flipped so completely in just three decades. We used to defend legitimate governments against subversive invaders; now we are the subversive invaders toppling legitimate governments. It’s a world turned upside down.

You mention the only legitimate government in Syria. Assad’s government still sits in the UN as the only official representative.
We cant get them out of their UN seat, and now we are attacking their government. Our aggression is out of control. This is a war to overthrow the Syrian government disguised as an anti ISIS operation.
How ‘bout warning the Syrian refugihadis not to get to close to American citizens.
And our special forces are being used as human shields.
