Donald Trumps newest campaign ad begins with a warning: In Hillary Clintons America, the system stays rigged against Americans.
The commercial, which aired Friday as part of his $5 million swing state ad buy, hearkens back to a claim Trump has been hammering for weeks that the general election is rigged against him. The questionable claim looks to mobilize Republicans, with the all-important start of early voting in some states just weeks away. [ ]
Is voting fraud a problem? Not the type that Trump is referring to.
While fraud can occur, the number of cases is very small and the type that voter IDs are designed to prevent voter impersonation at the ballot box is virtually non-existent.

In the 1950s my father was a NYPD Lieutenant in New York City, he was also a Democrat, and a appointed ‘Poll Watcher’. After election after election,of seeing the Democrat Party stuff box after box with names of democrats that failed to show up and vote, he became a Republican. Also, he was to deliver those boxes to be counted, funny thing is, some of those boxes would fall into the east river. Yeah, voter fraud is rare....My father would laugh,
Democrats call it a “a little bit of voter fraud”. To MY mind, that’s very much like being “a little bit” pregnant.
Geez. You don’t need in-person voting fraud when Democrats can simply hack voting machines, fill in a number of punch-card ballots ahead of time or stuff ballots with vote-by-mail fraud because these Dems *are* the watchdogs that are supposed to catch the fraud which is why it is so easy for them to do it and get away with it.
Let’s remember Palm Beach County FL 2000. Mysteriously, thousands of votes showed up for Pat Buchanan in Palm Beach County (something even Buchanan himself thought was outlandish) and the Dems had to invent a cover story.
At 7 pm ET (an hour before polls closed), they organized a bunch of grannies to parade in front of the media to publicly profess they were TOO STUPID to correctly read a butterfly ballot. The liberal media gave them plenty of face time.
Now, this was BEFORE the polls closed so nobody knew yet what the results would be (allegedly), but here was a DNC astroturf campaign to plant the cover story for obvious vote fraud.
So, how did the Dems know that their vote fraud had gone wrong? Theresa LePore, the elections chief of Palm Beach County, had switched Al Gore’s place on the ballot with Pat Buchanan’s weeks before early voting began. Also, a Democrat was stopped and found to have a voting machine and hundreds of blank computer ballots in her trunk.
Connect the dots. Florida Democrats generated thousands of votes for Pat Buchanan accidentally when they thought Gore was computer hole #5 on the ballot only later to find out it had been changed to computer hole #4 on the ballot. When the bad news made its way up to DNC Headquarters in Washington, they redirected important get-out-the-vote resources for other states in order to find the confused grannies in Florida that had already voted (and were demanding to vote again) so as to give legs to the alibi as to why Buchanan could perform so well in heavily-Jewish Palm Beach.
All the facts are verifiable through liberal news stories, just not with the dots connected as you see it here.
And Bush wound up winning Florida by how many votes? Had those fraud votes gone to Gore rather than Buchanan, history would have changed. No wonder liberals were so angry. They had rigged the outcome and STILL lost the election.
And still some folks refuse to believe in God. Should Donald Trump win this time, it will only be for one reason - that God befuddled lying cheating Democrats again as He did in 2000.
In-person vote fraud is for amateurs. The pros know how to generate far more fake votes without their own fingerprints being visible. the very fact AP is putting out another cover story is proof the Dems are leaving nothing to chance.
Hmmm. Guess they missed the Hamilton County Ohio election official convicted of voting 6 or 7 times in 2012 for Obama.
Key words here are “in-person”, which tells me they have other ways to cheat.
They need more ID to board a commercial airplane than they do to vote.
What the AP story doesn’t mention: their purported expert, Lorraine Minnite, is an on-record Obama donor and Dem Party partisan.
The Misnistry of Propaganda is working just a little too hard to make it appear that there is not voter fraud taking place.
Pieces like this make me more convinced than ever that they are working to elect SWMNBP, by any means necessary.
Mz. Yen is too young to remember and too dumb to look it up and Director Rehill is too biased to admit Box 13 changed history.
Straw man. Most of the fraud is not in person.
There probably hasn’t been an honest election since 1988, or perhaps 1962. Yet they assure us there is no problem, and no influence, of in-person voter fraud.
If poll workers are prevented by law from asking for ID, how on earth could they possibly know how much fraud is going on?
Voting fraud is not a problem. Yeh that’s the ticket. :-)
Exactly right.
Clearly this a_hole has never voted at any location in MD...
Daley held back the Chicago vote until late the next morning.

Even if Illinois election results were fraudulent, it did not give the presidency to Kennedy. Take Illinois electoral votes from Kennedy and give them to Nixon and Kennedy still wins the presidency.

Yes, you are correct, but my point was that fraud does occur, without question. There were also questions about fraud in Texas that year - being LBJ territory. If Nixon had won Texas and Illinois he would have made 270 and won the Presidency. The popular vote difference that election was 119,450 for the entire US. No one, even you and I, knows exactly what happened that year, but IMHO to dismiss the possibility of voting irregularities determining major elections would be a mistake.
