Voter fraud and electoral fraud are not necessarily the same thing.

“””In-person voting fraud is rare, doesn’t affect elections”””
If in-person voting fraud is rare, then why are especially the Democrats and to some degree the Republicans pushing people to vote by mail?
To: Olog-hai
Seems like a misrepresentation of Trump’s message. When he says “stays rigged against Americans” he isn’t talking about voter fraud on election day. He is talking about a political system that ignores misdeeds by government officials while prosecuting or persecuting everyday people for the same actions; that coerces behavior with onerous regulations; that actively schemes to give jobs to foreigners; that gives itself exemptions from laws others must follow; that gives itself perks and benefits paid for by taxpayers who can’t obtain or afford the same; that uses institutions of government for graft and corruption; that abuses power to punish opposition and dissent and so on. It doesnt matter if voter impersonation fraud is widespread or rare, it is about an us vs them mentality where those in power show contempt for citizens bending and breaking laws to serve its own self interest and against the interests of the citizenry.

How would officials catch people doing the in-person type of frauds? The fact that there aren’t many cases on record does not mean it is not occurring, and does not mean it might not occur on a very large scale rather suddenly if someone decided to put effort and resource into organizing it.

Yup! That’s what I thought Trump’s message was.
Weird how some people’s reasoning works one way and some another

They stole the governors race in Ct. with stolen and misplaced ballots in Bridgeport several years ago. The entire D party is a fraud and criminal enterprise .

Is voting fraud a problem? Not the type that Trump is referring to. While fraud can occur, the number of cases is very small and the type that voter IDs are designed to prevent voter impersonation at the ballot box is virtually non-existent.
Bull Shit! watch the videos.

And Philly and areas really didn’t have some poling stations with 110% of registered voters and go 100% for Obama.......

The writer knows dang well that voter fraud occurs, where it occurs, what manner it occurs and which party (by a 19:1 ratio) performs the fraud. There is a special place in hell for these people.

Advance mail voting, voting machine fixing, counting and tabulation fraud don't require walk ins.
I haven't forgotten how some democrat won a recount because they kept "finding" ballots in bathroom waste bins or someones car trunk.
Under the guise of "all votes must be counted" they allowed those unvetted ballots to be tallied.
All while mail-in votes from our overseas troops were *not* counted.

She’s a Harvard Law Grad, so her bias is probably ideologically based instead of outright bribery.
But it does beg the question, why exactly is a former lawyer and Harvard Law Grad writing crap for AP?
I really don’t put much stock in her “numbers and cases found”......I think it’s just made up BS, frankly.

Anyone who makes definitive claims that voter fraud doesn't exist, or is only a minor inconsequential issue, is either stating this from an agenda-driven perspective, or from ignorance. Democrat voter fraud goes back a long way, and was famous during the Richard J. Daley days in Chicago. Although fraud has not been definitively proven in the 1960 Presidential election, JFK won Illinois by 9000 votes, though Nixon won 92 of the 101 Illinois counties. Chicago, and Cook county, run by Daley and the democrats, gave JFK a 450,000 vote margin win in that county - even though the TOTAL population of Chicago at that time was ~3.55 million. And, Daley held back the Chicago vote until late the next morning.
The bottom line is that you don't have to change the popular vote much, just need to control votes in specific places. Yes, it is doable, and likely easier now than ever before - given the technology we use.
