The transcript uses both words. The party officially calls itself the Democratic Party, and sometimes Trump uses that (correct) term.
Errors in usage on this are going to be persistent, so be prepared to be annoyed by this forever.
Yeah, this is a common usage, I think a shorthand for "Democratic Party politicians."
The term "Democratic Party" itself...is a lie.
There's nothing "democratic" about a party whose claim to fame is stealing elections.
Republicans "aren't" either. The party is a clique that can be entered by payment of (money) dues and compliance with certain back-scratching protocols.

Father God, we thank You so much that You have raised Franklin Graham to fight in the trenches and be God’s love in action. We thank You that You have arranged for us to see that Donald Trump and Mike Pence do not hesitate to work with Christians. Oh Father, thank You for the joy this brings. Your will be done!
