The problem is that in this case the public largely agrees with the media. In other cycles, the media has been hurt by being too anti-Republican, and has had to moderate their message due to lost viewers. In this cycle, stridently anti-Trump rhetoric helps their ratings because he is so widely detested by a majority of the nation’s population.

Trump hasn't spent a penny yet on ads. He gets 24/7 coverage (ok negative) but some people don't even know who the Demorats are running.

Trump wins 47 states.

...and who would your miracle Republican candidate be who would be loved by the media and public at large?

I don't know about that. I get this sense we are being gaslighted by the mediots.

People are afraid to say out loud what they really think for fear of being "labeled". Especially the younger ones. The public is not happy, and while they may mouth the platitudes of the left, they really don't believe them.

Ask the folks at CNN why their ratings are tanking after so many bold faced lies about Trump. MSNBC can be watched as a circus with Matthews, Maddow, and the morning horny two. CNN has no charm. Just a litany of lies.

Fortunately for Trump, Hillary is detested more.

This election ultimately isn't about Trump.

Its about people fighting back against a brazenly corrupt power structure that includes the MSM.

Of course the msm is going to attack Trump w/ everything they have, but just like the rinos that are attacking him, they are only making him stronger.

You are helping the MSM drive a false narrative. Trump is NOT detested by a majority of the nation’s people as you attest.

IF that were the case, then the media would be much more negative against Clinton, given that the majority clearly detests her nearly as much as Trump. But that hasn't happened. I suspect if it had, she we be very much more disliked. Don't you think that negative reporting at least has something to do with it? And in the end, its only a few percent that's needed to do the trick....
