Trump hit the nail right on the head when he said Hillary condescends to blacks. FINALLY someone with the guts to tell the truth

You know it must be a good speech because the usual detractors are hemming and hawing at it and throwing in some but, but, buts.

Same thing happened after the foreign policy speech. Even George will was taken back but snidely commented, See See, he’s pivoting to the center.

Good article, but I will have to disagree with this statement:

“Trump began by declaring, “We’re at a decisive moment in this election,” which few would deny, given Trump’s perilous position in the polls.”

Reagan was further behind Carter even up to and including October.

Also, I did not hear him say anything that he has not been saying since he entered the race. He merely aimed his speech mostly at blacks, but he has voiced the same sentiments many times previously.

As for the teleprompter, I watched a documentary a bit about Reagan last night. Reagan routinely spoke from notes he held in his hand. I would prefer from now on that Trump would follow suit. During the give and take of a news conference, that would not be necessary.

Trump to Inner City Citizens, especially Blacks.

Your living conditions are horrible. You have voted for Democratic leadership for about 100 years. Those Progressive Democrat leadership and bigots and do not care about you, only your vote.
Vote Trump for a bright future.
Vote Hillary, and get more of the same, including riots.

Y’know, I care about my fellow man, but if he votes to continue policies proven to result in crappy outcomes, then I no longer fell responsible for that crappy outcome

Trump was definitely on point last night. Anyone who has paid attention to what he has accomplished (his disciplined, hard-working kids, and his search for excellence in his TV program, The Apprentice) expect this level of focus and gravitas. Good to see that others are noting it as well.

Am not a huge fan of an expanded police force, but am 100% for a deeper respect for our police. It is a thin blue line, indeed. And the BLM and Islamic thugs who are existential threats need to be dealt with quickly and firmly and decisively. No one gets a pass because of their childhood traumas or cultural depravities.

Trump needs to run the Margaret Sanger quote about Black people and Hillary’s praise of her as an ad

Last Sept USAToday posted SurveyUSA results showing Trump with 25% of Black vote. Two weeks ago North Carolina poll showed Trump getting 32% of the Black vote, Don’t you wish people like York would pull their NeverTrump head out of their ash?

Actually, Trump was merely challenging blacks reconsider their usual Plantation Vote (D) both intellectually and logically.

Absentee fathers, schools that don't teach anything but victimhood, and dodging of bullets just to leave their home is where voting (D) has gotten them. AND that'll only get worse.

There *is* a difference between Trump's challenge of blacks' voting rationale and "asking" for their vote.

Byron has not been paying attention. Trump has been after the black vote from the beginning.

Milwaukee police officer who shot Sylville Smith identified, threats follow
posted at 9:01 pm on August 17, 2016 by John Sexton

The identity of the police officer who shot and killed Sylville Smith appeared on social media and was confirmed today by the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel. Photos of the officer on social media with his name (and some with his address) prompted responses encouraging violence against him:

As of Tuesday, at least 3,000 people have shared a Facebook photo of the 24-year-old Milwaukee patrolman who fatally shot 23-year-old Sylville Smith – some of them adding furious and threatening comments.

“Now y’all see his face if he’s seen anywhere in the city drop him,” read one post. Another called for a gun so the person could “shoot him right in his head.”

The posters gave the officer’s name, Dominique Heaggan, and some included his home address. The Journal Sentinel has independently confirmed his identity, which has not been released by the Police Department. He is also known as Dominique Heaggan-Brown.

The NY Daily News published some examples of other responses condoning violence against Heaggan-Brown online:

“Do whatever ya’ll need to do to this man,” wrote one person.

Another wrote: “They coming for yo a–, Mr. Postman.”
