WOOOOOHOOOO!!!
LOL!! Don'cha hate it when that happens? But realizing you didn't and that you don't have to for a couple more days must have had you doing a little happy dance.
You have a strong personality. You are who you are, and you're darn proud of it.
You are quite guarded. You feel reluctant to reveal your true self to others.
You think on a whole other plane. You see patterns and logic where others see chaos.
You are comfortable with theories. Abstract ideas and concepts delight you.
RIGHT ON!
Brutalist was not a quiz possibility.
(sorry...I liked that so much I HAD to steal borrow it. :)
Is that similar to distressed, but worse...er...better?
Strong is good...and you can’t get much stronger than Baroque. :)
No need to apologize. I stole borrowed him years ago. Cute lil booger, isn't he? :-)
Nothing much with me this fine Tuesday; just went out to get a haircut today.
Still staying in the high 90's here for awhile, just enjoying the A/C.
How are you and the kittehs doing today?
Always loved the work of Howard Roarke.
Indeed! Bold and unapologetic.
He is cute! And so teeeensy...I had to enlarge just to see what or who he/she was. LOL! And then reduced the size again. :)
Still staying in the 90s here, too, though they keep predicting 80s. *sigh*
Hubby’s friends from TX are still in town and they were here all afternoon into evening. They’d planned to leave today but the seriously ill friend they were here to see passed away last night. Now they’ll wait til Fri. to leave so I guess we’ll be entertaining them a little longer.
Catching up on emails and news now that there’s some free time.
Kittehs are oddly quiet this evening, considering the full moon is so close at hand. Likey lots! LOL
Teeeensy is right! That’s one of the reasons I liked him so much. Just too cute.
Glad you liked him too. Have fun with him. :-)
THAT'S IT !!!!
She lived in Trump Tower and was on the board of trustees - knew Trump though was not best friends with him. Was very fond of him. Trump has also cited Ayn I think as his favorite, definitely one of his most influential authors.
Many many great conservatives are not fans of Ayn's, it's kind of a subgroup it seems to me that think 'yeah, she nailed it - almost everyting' ... although I've heard crazy Ann Barnhardt (sp?) say 'She was so so so so close' (Ayn being an atheist. (I like Ann too) ... but I digress ...
... almost ANYONE who truly loves Ayn ... it's like Mark Twain with people who love cats ... I really don't need to know anything else about them. You can't like Ayn and not have certain things so close to your heart that you're virtually predictable ... assuming you don't just like her to be fashonable or because you misunderstood what she meant by the virtue of being selfish.
Love Roarke! Love him!!!!!!!!!! Never saw a single building ... but I know what he would have built.
So there are a couple reasons why, from the very beginning ... connection to Ayn and also the respect of someone I had a lot of respect for who knew him well enough to judge him ... that with all the bombast ... underneath that ... very very very steady man of integrity. Don't really need to tell US that ... but ... there is more than just intuition to why I trust him to be what he says he is.
I am Art Deco...Amazing, as that is the style of architecture I love.
However, the ensuing discription of me is 180 degrees off...lol
