With the Clinton Foundation once again the recipient of negative headlines, former Rep. Chris Shays (R-CT) -- another Republican who says he's backing Hillary Clinton -- recommended that the Clinton family should shut down the foundation if she becomes president. "I would sure as heck suggest that they don't have it," Shays said on "MTP Daily" yesterday. Maybe the Clinton Foundation doesn't have to close its doors if Hillary wins in November, but it will be unsustainable -- for the Clintons and for the foundation -- if it's viewed as a conflict of interest. As former GOP Sen. Dick Lugar (R-IN) noted in 2009 during Hillary Clinton's confirmation hearing to become secretary of state, "The core of the problem is that foreign governments and entities may perceive the Clinton Foundation as a means to gain favor with the secretary of state. Although neither Senator Clinton nor President Clinton has a personal financial stake in the foundation, obviously its work benefits their legacy and their public service priorities." And as we found out, any safeguards that the Clintons and Foundation established to eliminate perceptions problems while Hillary was secretary of state didn't exactly do the trick.

They will very publicly claim to shut it down. A significant chunk of cash will go to liberal charities. The rest will disappear via creative accounting. The legal issues around the foundation will dissolve as it no longer exists.
They will open a new foundation or company or enterprise, probably in a foreign country. The main players will appear to retire, but they will instead move through a variety of entities until they are again in their old positions. It’s a variation of the old pea under the shell game. Now, find the pea.
The new name will be something like, “The injured kitten foundation.”
If Hitlery wins, she becomes the wealthiest woman in the world.

Hillary doesn’t care about ‘perception’. Hillary Clinton doesn’t care about appearance. Hillary only cares about what can be proven in the face of a half-breed Muslim President’s willing (very well to be paid for cooperation) endorsement.

Neither of them have a personal financial stake in the foundation??? Really???? They don’t get any sort of pay from running the foundation???? They don’t charge off luxury travel expenses when they are doing “charity” work for the foundation??
What the heck does the foundation do anyway?? What charitable work do they do ?? Does the Clinton foundation do any legitimate charity work of any kind???
And what about the tax breaks the Clintons get, for donating money to their “charitable” foundation?
And let me pile on a bit, and ask, how the heck do daughter Chelsea and her husband afford a luxury $10 million Manhattan co-op apartment??? Who paid for it???
