One of the 10 or 15,000 Donald Trump subdramas heading into the fall is the question of whether the Republican presidential nominee will participate in all three scheduled debates. It's usually taken for granted that major-party candidates will agree to the Commission on Presidential Debates' schedule, but there’s no law requiring it, and Trump has never seen a political norm he hasn't considered razing and building something gaudy over. And over the past couple of weeks, he’s laid the groundwork for not participating in the debates by suggesting that they are, in some nebulous way, a trap he can't agree to until he's carefully combed through the conditions.
Don’t be fooled. He's going to do them. Well, at least he'll do one of them, and see how much he likes it. What he first needs is some face-saving adjustment to the schedule, the debate rules, the debate hall, or whatever. It doesn't matter what it is, and it doesn't even have to be an alteration that's tactically advantageous. The whole point of his debate moaning is just to act as another dominance play to demonstrate his ability to wield leverage in negotiating a deal.

With the press and their unyielding loyalty to Hillary, any debate is ridiculous.
That doesn't automatically mean he's wrong.
This writer, Jim Newell, is a total moron. Trump demolished all of the competing Republican candidates over numerous debates. It is Shrillary who will be running scared. Trump just wants a fair, level playing field (impossible to get with the Mediascum), but he will rock n roll with whatever scenario he is facing. Jim Newell will cry in his Fruit Loops the next morning.
Cankles will be doing well to be able to even stand up there for the debates. They will probably have to prop her up, ya think?

To tell you the truth, I don’t think she’ll be able to be there for the debates...I think she is a lot sicker than what people want to admit...she looks like an old bag lady I seen on 5th Ave one day while I was in New York, she really looks like she is death warmed over...
She might resort to one of those poles they stick up the back of persons riding in floats....to prevent them from falling off. ROTFLOL.

I quite agree. Trump is in the heads of all the media. They are willing to freak at the smallest remark by Trump in order to avoid addressing Hillary scandals.
The more time they invest in twisting what he says, in his authentic fashion, the more they are able to help Hillary obfuscate and cover-up, for just 90 more days.
The media is burning time and the clock for HRC, on her behalf.
I believe Hillary will be drugged enough to come off as a poised, confident, and collected defender of expanding the welfare state during the debates. Her answers will be total nonsense, of course, but that isn’t what the people who score these debates are looking for.

If I were a conservative running for the Presidency, I wouldn’t participates in any of these so called “debates”.
They are rigged against any candidate who is not the liberal choice of the MSM.
The last political debate of any kind I watched was back in the Eighties, and if one looks at the excerpts and listens to the questions since then...nothing has changed.
Only a fool goes in there to kick that Charlie Brown Football being held by the Lucy media.
I would tell them to pound sand.
Now, if they said they were going to put two podiums up there, start a 60 minute clock and just let them go at it with no stupid liberal commentators or dumbass audience members asking questions...then yeah. I would pay money for that.
But not one of these boring, USELESS, waste of time liberal-sponsored and run debates.
