It IS kinda nice to get up and just throw on “around the house grubbies” and relax, isn’t it? LOL
Not when you go on a road trip with my hubby who HATES to make pit stops! LOL!
Actually, he has gotten better. I guess he got tired of hearing me whine. heehee
It is! Staying in “cute” jammies isn’t a bad way to spend the day either, unless you have to leave the house, say for food. LOL!
I think I’m more of a cultural adventure kind of guy most days, but some days I wouldn’t mind blasting out of the house and just taking what life throws at me.
Evening, all. Guess I’m a hopeless romantic.
Fortunately, we’re pretty much on the same page as far as pit stops go. We’ll go 3 to 4 hours between stops. We prefer to make good time and every stop is a setback.
But we don’t get to go anywhere very often, any way, so it doesn’t matter. All the kittehs keep us at home.
Here, it’s shorts and ultra-lightweight sleeveless tops during summer. Gets too hot in the house to wear more.
Winter, it’s flannel shirts and medical scrub britches (love all those pockets!). The britches are baggy enough to wear thermal pants underneath when it gets cold in the house.
But you won’t catch me in public in either “outfit”. LOL! Gotta change when it’s time to go somewhere.
Wouldn’t that be fun? I tend to be OCD, so being spontaneous is hard. I think about what I’m taking for days in advance...even though when pushed I can be packed for a trip in 30 minutes. Though I do forget stuff when I do that! LOL!
Well, like that’s a BAD thing? :)
Oooo...I like that! :)
I always thought it would be fun to take a small canoe or boat down an isolated Alaskan river...
A work day, huh? Bummer.
Good night and sleep well, LUV.
Hi Everybody!
((((HUGS))))
I went to Pub Night tonight, and sang “Heart of the Matter” by Don Henley...a VERY tricky song vocally, with many lyrics and VERY emotional.
It went great...I surprised myself, because I was nervous about singing it for the first time.
Now, I think it shall be part of my repertoire!
Lynn-Dah got to play in the kiddie pool with the twins today. She just stands there with her four feet in the water, and they squirt her with squirt guns. She loves being the center of attention!
That does sound like quite an adventure! I hope you like the cold! LOL! Maybe one of these days, you can do that!
Here is the result I got:
You Crave a Cultural Adventure |
You want to learn and grow from your adventure. You want to know the place you visit as well as your home town. You are an open minded and curious traveler. You're all about immersing yourself in local customs, no matter how foreign they are. Whenever you're in a new place, you try to speak the language, eat the food, and meet the locals. After all, that's what traveling is all about! |
