A volleyball match Saturday between the U.S. and Puerto Rico in Rio de Janeiro included a ball out call against the Americans, prompting the Brazilian audience to cheer, according to The Daily Caller.
The unidentified NBC announcer was quick to point out that U.S. teams receive negative responses “everywhere” they play, other than at home.
“And you heard the cheers from the pro-Brazilian, pro-Puerto Rican crowd here,” the person said. “You don’t know, the United States gets cheered against everywhere in the world except the United States.”
