I just listened to Obama give Washingtons account of the situation with ISIL in Iraq and Syria.
In Obamas account, Washington is defeating ISIL in Iraq, but Russia and Assad are defeating the Syrian people in Syria. Obama denounced Russia and the Syrian governmentbut not ISILas barbaric. The message was clear: Washington still intends to overthrow Assad and turn Syria into another Libya and another Iraq, formerly stable and prosperous countries where war now rages continually.
It sickens me to hear the President of the United States lie and construct a false reality, so I turned off the broadcast. I believe it was a press conference, and I am confident that no meaningful questions were asked.

ISIS is a terrorist organization. Obama always refers to it as ISIL which includes Israel. Draw your own conclusions.
I have to agree with JewishRighter, it is looking more and more like insidiously evil.
‘’... and Hell followed with him’’.
PCR is a smart guy with a few decent ideas, although many of his ideas are crazy.
I understand that he used to be on the WSJ editorial board but recently he has transformed himself into the stereotypical crazy uncle in the attic.
He is a Lew Rockwell maniac......spends waaaay too much trying to out due Alex
Rosemary Sutcliff named Thomas Fairfax as the Rider of the White Horse.
I’ll take “insidiously evil” for $500, Alex.
So, have a former president or former secretary of state ever been tried for war crimes?

"Is it too much to say that since the French Revolution, the left has been the source of virtually all political evils, and continues to be so in our day?
"There can be no doubt that great cruelty and violence can be and have been inflicted in the name of preserving the existing order.
"But when we compare even the worst enormities of the more distant past with the leftist totalitarian revolutions and total wars of the twentieth centuries, they are in general a mere blip. The entire history of the Inquisition, said Joe Sobran, barely rises to the level of what the communists accomplished on a good afternoon."
That Lew Rockwell?
IF that were all he said that would be one thing. The man was a loon. His followers are too
Thanks for sharing.
Look brother Lew is a 9/11 truth er. He thinks that Irlando and San Bernardino are all fake....he is off the rails on soooo many things
I know a few things with absolute certainty: Lincoln got the war he wanted. And poor old Vince Foster may have killed himself, and he may have died in Ft Marcy park. But he did not do both of those things. But I digress.
Nope it is the name that the fools who put together two versions of very uninformed and specious arguments to suit their anarchic agenda chose.
You must be really log if you are old enough to remember an “invasion” of Mexico
“PCR is a smart guy with a few decent ideas, although many of his ideas are crazy.”
You all may not remember but PCR is arguably the architect of what became Reaganomics. He is a world renowned economist, economic adviser to Jack Kemp in the 1970s, and drafted the Kemp-Roth bill which became Ronald Reagan’s 1981 Economic Recovery Tax Act. Reagan awarded him the Treasury’s Meritorious Service Award and the French inducted him into their Legion of Honor. So his “few decent ideas” are a bit more than that, at least in his specialty. That said, some of his ideas outside of economics may indeed be crazy uncle conspiracy territory.
“Can you tell me who killed JFK?”
Yeah. A Communist fellow traveler named Lee Oswald- the same guy who murdered Dallas police officer JD Tippit later that same day in front of a dozen witnesses.
Another Communist sympathizer by the name of Mark Lane was the first to concoct the ‘Oswald is innocent’ meme in order to shift blame for the murder of Kennedy away from the hard Left. He’d be very pleased to know how effective that bit of agitprop has turned out to be.
