Trump absolutely DID NOT attack the Khan family. He was asked a question and attempted to defend himself from an umprovoked character assassination by Khan, who has turned out to be just a Clinton paid crony. Saying the wife maybe didn’t speak because maybe she’s not allowed to speak is a factual statement. Devout Muslims, and that is exactly what this family is, the wife keeps her mouth shut until the husband gives her permission to speak. This nonsense about Trump attacking this family is 100% BS of the first degree and it’s only out there because the sorry ass media keeps repeating the lie over and over and over. And they were helped by worthless republican politicians agreeing with them. Lou Dobbs, who has more sense than all of them combined, said Trump in no way shape or form attacked this family. I agree 100% with Dobbs and anyone that listens to Trump’s words knows damn well it was not an attack on the Khans. The one that did the attacking on a man he does not know is the Clinton surrogate Khan. Letting the media set the narrative, and frame the narrative is despicable and that’s exactly what has happened with this story.
Here’s the thing about that Khan incident.....and when the first thing Trump mentioned was the wife and why she said nothing I smiled because that was exactly what I was thinking.
Because that woman standing there....seriously, that was just a horrible sight byte. The Dems are big on sight and sound bytes and guys, Mrs. Khan looked like a doped up cow standing there mute. We got eyeballs out here in la-la land.
Don’t forget, please, that Khan was talking about THEIR son and it would be logical here in America for the woman to speak up. I’m sure those who planned that thing thought Mrs. Khan would come off as an aggrieved mother but that photo-op screamed abused Muslim woman not allowed to speak OR this is all an act and a show.

You are absolutely correct! I've been wondering why the Trump surrogates haven't said that. Trump said he was repeating what had been reported/conjectured about the Con's wife.
He went on about how Trump blew it with the Mooselimb and then explained better than I could why the Kahn artist was at the wrong convention and why is his wife still unable to talk after 12 years. The more he talked the angrier he got at Kahn.
