Well they quoted some of the soldiers that were there and it sounds like they had it rough for a few months.
But you are probably right that poetic license was in there.
Still, 3 dead and 12 injured badly, that’s a shame.

They said they were allowed to go because the local elders made a truce to prevent any other village soldiers from being killed.

Actually, I would suggest that she is a sociopath, far beyond anything Zero is. She loathes EVERYONE, not just the military. Certain people are ‘tolerated’ by her, but only while they are useful.
