Wisconsin GOP Kicks Out Paul Ryan’s Challenger From Trump Rally
Daily Caller ^ | August 6, 2016 | Scott Greer

Posted on 08/06/2016 9:21:29 AM PDT by Pinkbell

Paul Nehlen, House Speaker Paul Ryan’s Republican primary challenger, was ejected by Wisconsin GOP staffers from a Donald Trump rally in Green Bay, Wisconsin Friday night.

Nehlen was able to enter the premises of the rally before being urged to leave by individuals affiliated with the state party organization, according to his campaign. A Nehlen spokesman told The Daily Caller the Trump campaign had reached out and invited the congressional candidate to attend the rally earlier Friday.

Trump went on to endorse Speaker Ryan at the rally, as well as Arizona Sen. John McCain and New Hampshire Sen. Kelly Ayotte in their respective primaries. The move is seen as a reversal from Trump’s comments Tuesday in which he praised Nehlen and refused to endorse Ryan in the Wisconsin congressional primary.

Why would you vote for Ryan when you know he will betray you?

I'm TRYING to think of a politician who didn't betray me at SOME point in his/her time in office. They ALL did. So what's the big deal?
Besides, how could HE "betray" me? I would have to take it VERY personally...and I don't, not from politicians.

I can't think of one.
Oh yeah: the governator. He didn't disappoint me.

So, who gets your POTUS vote? John Kasich? You could write him in. THAT'S a throw-away vote for sure.

All this thuggish behavior from state officials who, even with their Wonder Boy on the 2016 ticket with Romney, could not deliver their electoral votes to the Republican ticket.

The state of Wisconsin is having far too great a voice in the party and far too great a presence in the daily news about the election. They are far more a detriment for the party’s prospects this year than they are an asset.

What a disaster. Trump invites Nehlen and Ryan’s stooges eject him from TRUMP’S RALLY. That Ryan refused to attend. How cute is that?

Trump should not touch Wisconsin with a 10 foot poll. Write it off and move on. Let the Hillary enabling Wisconsin Republicans stew in their own juices. He can’t allow Ryan to portray himself as the senior leader of the GOP because that will continue once he is in the White House.

I’m voting for Trump.

Your comment was about Ryan.
Ryan is running for his Congressional seat.
I don’t live in his district so I can’t vote against him.
As Speaker he has given Obama everything he’s asked for and more.

Trump invited him then endorsed Ryan at the rally? It was up to Trump to make sure Nehlan got in as I understand it. Nehlan not being allowed in hurts Trump. Did Nehlan hit back by showing up knowing he would not be allowed in? Or did he show up knowing his supporters would boo when Trump endorsed Ryan? In fact, did Trump’s people join with the Wisconsin GOP in stopping Nehlan from getting in because Trump didn’t want Nehlan’s supporters from booing?

The GOP is in control of the Trump campaign. Let’s face it. Trump loves his money and wants to be reimbursed. So, the GOP told him he’ll never get a dime from them unless he starts doing things their way. The first cave was to pick Pence.

However, I still suspect that Trump is another Perot. Once he gets up in the polls he says or does something stupid, such as endorsing Ryan and sticking it to Nehlan, thus sticking it to his supporters, so there is a reason for his poll numbers to drop. We constantly hear about how smart Trump is. And we believe it. Then why does he say stupid things just when he shouldn’t?

No one needs to get too excited about this. I have a feeling us Trump supporters are going to be just as depressed as the Cruz supporters, and the Sanders supporters, when it’s all over.

Oh, and by the way, Ryan is saying he might pull his endorsement of Trump.

The media, who really doesn’t like Ryan (didn’t like him in 2012), is now suddenly Ryan’s best friend because he aids them in their attacks on Trump. They will use him to sow division and help roadblock Trump’s agenda if he gets in. Paul Ryan stands up to Trump more than he has ever stood up to Obama.

Awful behavior on the part of WI GOP. On what grounds did they have the right to kick him out of a Trump rally?

The GOPe is doing everything it can to prop up Ryan.

The corruption is fighting for it's life.

Wisconsin is a lost cause. They favor Hillarys political beliefs and they are more left than King Obama. When Trump becomes President he should gather many of the Refugees and force them on Wisconsin. Maybe these sick jackasses might see what they have done if they reelect Ryan.

Trump for President.

Nehlan not being allowed in hurts Trump.

What hurts Trump is the appearance he is being lead around by the nose by GOP. He should never have agreed to this WI rally without Ryan agreeing to appear with him. He looks the junior partner here, Ryan will take advantage of that by continuing to lecture Trump. That isn’t going to help going forward.

There’s not an “appearance” that Trump is being led around by the nose by the GOP. To me it’s OBVIOUS.

“The government has a system, a machine, that watches your every move.” That “machine” is much more powerful than we’ll ever know. I got a feeling Trump now knows. Unless he has ALWAYS known.

Isn’t this guy the one who loudly called for the deportation of all muslins in the US including citizens? If so, the rest of his spiel is just self-serving.

Solidity within the GOP helps Trump as much as it helps the others. The fragmentation had everyone upset and the media were using it. Let’s continue to support Trump in this, and meanwhile, if we can, help Ryan’s opponent.
