I remember as a boy living in base housing overseas. Dad brought home cases of the DDT in aerosol cans (that old OD color with NSNs, etc.).

Nightly in the summertime truck tankers with DDT and heavy duty foggers would cruise the base housing areas.

In the 70s coming from Okinawa on emergency leave in a C-141 they wouldn’t let us leave the plane and two airmen walked up and down the bay, a can of DDT in each hand spraying the cans until they were empty.

The stuff worked.

LOL! When I was a kid living in the Tampa Bay area while my dad was deployed to Korea, we used to ride behind the fogger trucks on our bikes. Say, you don’t think that may have caused................. Nah, I’m okay. And just how many deaths can we attribute to the eco wankers and ray-shell carson for their false claims? Big thanks to willy rucklehouse for arbitrarily getting it banned. Typical blood on the hands of libs. Settled science my butt.

Growing up in the Panama Canal Zone in the late 60s/early 70s, I remember chasing those DDT trucks, running through the “fog” as thry drove past the palyground. Never had any health issues and all of my kids have turned out fine.

Yeah, we used to ride our bikes in the DDT clouds behind the fogger truck, just to watch the ‘skeeters die and drop from the air.

I was an Army brat in Okinawa in the sixties, and we’ll remember the sprayer trucks dispensing clouds of DDT up and down the streets of the base housing areas.

We kids had a blast running after them and playing in the mist. Didn’t hurt us, but it sure did keep the mosquitos at bay.

I remember using DDT on myself as a mosquito killer-repellent in Thailand 1969.
In 1956, we used to run behind the DDT truck spraying around the Animas River in Farmington NM. It was cool on a hot day!

WE should be dead or mutated!
