The video was on You Tube and the Conservative Tree House, why is he backing off?

You folks have not looked at the link and are missing my point. At 6:30 AM today, Trump tweeted, in effect, that he was wrong and he did not see the money plane. Later this morning the Iranian documentary of the money for hostage transfer emerged.

Getting to the point where I think CNN should be banned from being posted on FR. They are SO in the pocket of Hillary and the Dems.

They aren’t even a good indication of what the “other side” thinks. CNN just trash talks Trump.

Wow--it is amazing how this thing, like the Khan-job story, keeps getting distorted.

Here's Trump retraction tweet from this morning:

"Donald J. Trump ‏@realDonaldTrump 7h7 hours ago

The plane I saw on television was the hostage plane in Geneva, Switzerland, not the plane carrying $400 million in cash going to Iran!

5,671 retweets 16,452 likes"

Notice he says "plane" twice. Not the actual cash.

I saw the same video on FoxNews the other morning and they presented it as being the video of the plane used to ferry the cash to Switzerland for Iran.

They did not say the video was of the hostages being released.

I even posted here on FR asking who shot the video, if this was a super secret mission?

Trump had like three events that day.

He saw that same report and had the same conclusion I did.

Now, there is a Youtube video produced in Iran surfacing showing the pallets of cash sent by the US to Iran for the hostages.

Trump is talking solely about the news video shown the other day showing the PLANE only, not the cash.

Another example of the daily lies of the MSM.

Let's not talk or report about the President's treason in sending hard cash to our adversaries, let's gin up crap aboout Trump some more!!

These stories are all ridiculous don’t you understand a media tactic when you see it?

Yes, these stories are ridiculous, and yes it's a media tactic. But that's all besides the point.

These unenforced errors are starting to hurt Trump. I say that not because of some fancy poll, but based on my own (limited) observations. Very pro-Trump people I know are starting to talk about these errors. And are weakly pro-Trump people I know are starting to waiver.

Wake up, Donald. It's not a level playing field out there. So adjust to that unfortunate reality. Hit hard, but choose your targets carefully.

He should have waited until he checked FR. We had it up this morning

Let’s be frank. Trump’s unforced errors are turning into a disaster. Of course the media will jump all over it and blow it out of proportion. So why say he saw a video when he did not?

Trump is not letting the discussion focus on Clinton.

There is a reason why professional politicians are called “professional”. I’m afraid Trump is not ready for prime time - unlike his VP, who is.

Maybe Trump did not see the Iranian video. He was being honest about only seeing the plane in Switzerland. The video is a distraction from the money for hostages reality. What difference does it make at this point what video he saw?

problem here is..MSM will continue to set him up with false narratives. DJT needs someone at his side to tackle him, when needed.

It would not have mattered WHO the candidate was, this is what was going to happen. Our biggest problem is ourselves. We, who allow the obvious propaganda campaign to thrive with no angry and outraged pushback. I see no fight back and that is why we will lose. It won’t be Trump that lost. It will be WE who lost it.

Too many here on FR are enabling the propaganda campaign by endlessly posting every media attack on Trump, whether they are absolute nonsense or not. Their rationale is that "we must know what the enemy is up to." Fair enough, but when the enemy is firing at you, you don't stand up to see what bullets they are using.

It would be better not to repeat (and then endlessly discuss) every MSM attack on our nominee. We are allowing them to control the dialog.

“We, who allow the obvious propaganda campaign to thrive with no angry and outraged pushback.

But you see, that’s the problem...fight back with what? The global establishment owns ALL of the means of communication in the world. All of them. We are stuck waiting and praying for wikileaks to do something, anything. But even that can be ignored by the globalist media.

You can’t fight revolutions through elections. You don’t have the tools to fight with. Trump is being crushed by a global effort to put their fellow rider, Hillary, into the position they want her in. There will never again be a true, free candidate. This is it.

Unfortunately, all of the “professionals” have sold out to the Cheap Labor Express and would not stand up for the rule of law and the citizens.
Only Trump would do that.
That is why he was nominated.

Trump is not letting the discussion focus on Clinton.

Yep. Good post yours. If Trump sends out 100 comments, and only one is wrong, or goofy, or whatever, the media will focus on that one bad comment.

So Trump simply must send out zero bad comments. It's unfair that he must be held to that standard while Hillary is not, but that's reality.

Anyone with half a brain can see that those CNN asses are deflecting from what is an Obama scandal.

There is a federal law that Obama violated when he payed the Iranians.

“House Foreign Affairs Committee Chairman Edward R. Royce, California Republican, said the “logistics of the payment — literally delivering a plane full of cash to evade U.S. law — shows yet again the extraordinary lengths the Obama administration will go to accommodate Iran, all while hiding the facts from Congress and the American people”

This was a perfect example of why Trump should stop using Twitter. He keeps shooting himself in the foot with it.

It is not an "unforced error." It is the case of the MSM distorting the truth and focusing on something not relevant to the issue at hand.

Did Hillary make an unforced error when she told the crowd that she would raise taxes on the middle class? Did the MSM seize on that?

Today, at her phony press conference before black and latino reporters, Hillary again lied about her email scandal contradicting the findings of the FBI and the statements made by Comey before Congress. What price will she pay in the MSM? It's the plane, boss.
