Hillary Clinton’s presidential campaign has left Virginia off its upcoming battleground-state television ad buy beginning next week — the second state to be dropped in recent weeks as Clinton holds a significant lead over Donald Trump nationally and in key states.
The campaign’s new television ad buy, which begins next Tuesday, consists of Florida, Iowa, Nevada, New Hampshire, North Carolina, Ohio and Pennsylvania. The reservations, which could easily be amended in the future, run through Labor Day.
The decision reflects increasing confidence among Democrats that Clinton will keep Virginia, a state that had been expected to be bitterly contested, in the blue column this fall. The pro-Clinton super PAC Priorities USA is scaling back its Virginia ad campaign later this month, as well.
She can use the money elsewhere. Fairfax County vote is totally rigged. She will get 110% of the vote.

I saw the polls too. A little concerning, but the one Libs are touting show a 15 point swing, almost overnight.

I suspect that she knows she will need to counter a lot of flak closer to the election, when Donald is fully unleashed and more emails and such appear.
I’m not so sure. Here in western Fairfax, there are no Hellery yard signs and few bumper stickers, and Trump’s rally in Ashburn, just across the Loudoun County line, was packed.

Exhausted from campaign events where she is constantly hounded by by dozens of supporters, Hillary might just need to take a vacation.
There’s really nothing to do until football season starts and there’s a debate on the calendar, and do we really need debates at this point? I mean a two person debate will be so boring, what with Hillary being so magnanimously intelligent, and the vulgarian Trump being so, well, less than that…
Meanwhile, for some odd reason, tens of thousands of people keep showing up to these Donald Trump rallies and Town Halls. I mean like, really, what are these people thinking?
