A new website allows non-white people to ask for and receive reparations from white people, more often than not in the form of a financial windfall: free laptops, tuition for Ivy League schools, an engagement ring and credit assistance are a few examples of reparations requested, offered or already paid out on the site. Reparations.me, founded by a black woman named Natasha Marin, has a Craigslist-like layout where non-white people post their requests for reparations from white people. White people can fulfill requests as well as post their own offers of reparations.
Who is paying her, the beggars?
I would like to ask for reparations from the mexicans who broke into two of my houses the same week and stole from me.
Neither I or anyone else alive today had anything to do with slavery before 1865.
I'm sick of this guilt trip being laid on us by people who just want free shit the don't deserve!
Maybe. Most websites make their money from ads but the users may give a cut. Does it matter? It’s capitalism.
Gofundme for gibmedats.
Does she mean democrats? Because only democrats practiced slavery
My 2nd great grandfather and his first cousin ( my fifth cousin ) were Union Veterans of the Civil War who served in Company F, 10th Regiment, Vermont Volunteer Infantry.
When Lincoln called for volunteers in 1862, they VOLUNTEERED! The draft wasn't in effect until March of 1863.
Records indicate that they were Methodists. Most Vermont Methodists were also Abolitionists.
Both my 2nd great grandfather and his cousin returned from the war as disabled veterans. My 2nd great grandfather suffered from chronic complications of amoebic dysentery that was not properly treated...a dysentery which killed more soldiers than did enemy bullets. My cousin lost an arm in the famous Battle of Winchester.
Now ask me if I feel guilty!!!!
She should be paying ME reparations for whatever of MY taxes have enabled her to feed off the public trough.
By the way, the first slave owner in America was black and many of the slave owners in the south were black. So why doesn't she go and try to shake down THEIR descendants???

I think guilty white liberals should give away every penny in reparations, and then jump off a bridge to really show how sorry they are. Before the election, preferably.
But the headline said the reparations are for guilty white people! I'm not guilty, but I was all ready to sign up for my reparations!
Natasha,
Barry gave all the reparation money to Iran.
Cheers!
My uncle, a Southern lawyer from a prominent family, defended a black man who had killed another man in a bar room fight. Instead of jail, he pleaded that his defendant be paroled to him for life. This man maintained my uncle’s house for the rest of his life - cooking, cleaning and all. My uncle saw that he had an income and bought him a car and his own apartment as well a room in his town home and country home.
Tough life.

Working on my tan as I type.
Money for “reparations?” Didn’t Obama spend it all? Several times over?
Anybody who would fall for this load of malarky needs their head examined.
I can’t help but admire her a backhanded way. She really puts the “artist” in “con artist.” Her picture should be the dictionary next to the word “chutzpah!”
Under the spirit of “A fool and his money are soon parted” I urge ALL guilt-ridden white people to help this lady out.
Those are dead confederates at the edge of the Rose Woods, but point taken.
