The father of slain Queens jogger Karina Vetrano had a bad back — and a worse feeling — when his devoted daughter left on her nightly run.
The vivacious 30-year-old, who typically jogged alongside her dad, ignored his warning to avoid an overgrown trail and ran right into the hands of a merciless killer, cops said Wednesday.
Though cops say it appears she fought desperately, her father, Philip Vetrano, found her lifeless body — strangled and likely raped — facedown amid the towering weeds about 15 feet off a desolate path in a Howard Beach park.
Neighbors say the 10-foot-high growths along the trails allowed predators to lie in wait and partiers to drink and do drugs without fear.
Makes me sad and angry.
That poor father. How devastating. This sounds like one of those parks that needs to be kept clear of brush and tall weeds at all times.

Sad. She was a looker. And I don’t mean she had it coming by any means, but sooner or later people are going to snap back to the reality that our cities and streets can no longer be assumed safe. And some of the “pussy” generation wonder why some of us would be happy to see life like it was 40 and 50 years ago again.
Even Howard Beach, a neighborhood policed by the crooked nose, is not immune from the ILLEGAL ALIENS UNLEASHED BY HUSSEIN BARAKA/SHRILLARY! that most likely had to be INSANE enough to perpetrate such a dastardly act when certain death by street justice is ensured.

My feelings as well, though I don’t want to turn this into that.
Suffice to say that men and women need to be aware, and women need to understand that in general, unless she has the aggressiveness, strength, training, and willingness to use that training, it isn’t going to be an even fight with a chance for success if she encounters an average men bent on doing her harm.
She was apparently warned, but didn’t heed it. Nine times out of ten, it is going to be fine. All it takes is that one time.
Same thing happened forty five years go on Riverside Drive in Tulsa. Terrible. I don’t think they ever found the killer.
