Libertarian presidential nominee Gary Johnson provided little detail in a town hall Wednesday night on how he plans to defeat terrorism.
CNN host Anderson Cooper asked the former New Mexico governor in light of a knife attack against six people in London Wednesday, how Johnson would prevent attacks in the U.S.
"Maybe we're the kind of candidates that are gonna say, 'look, this stuff is gonna happen,'" Johnson said. "Yes, a president of the United States we need to be vigilant to potentially prevent these things from happening, but these things are gonna happen."

Listen Establishment A-holes, you don’t have to purposefully import them into this country. Sheesh, The Establishment has gone complete nuts and they accuse Trump of that.
MORON, we don’t have to make it easier and bring more potential terrorists within our borders!!!!
The stupid is so big it hurts.....
>> Libertarian presidential nominee Gary Johnson
A Liberal idiot, not a libertarian.
Sounds like that French guy who said it’s just a part of life. In Gary’s case, he’s saying, “If you’re lucky enough to not be a victim, go home, smoke a bowl and chillax.”
And just how do you potentially prevent anything from happening, Mr. Johnson? Yeah, yeah... by being "vigilant." But wouldn't it be better to actually prevent things like this from happening?
To think that I voted for this guy... twice!
Regards,
E.g., you have two guys from a Muslim country who want to come to the US. One is named David, and the other Sayyid. Which one do you let in?
Discrimination, pure and simple.
It does not violate the Constitution in any way, the Constitution waving, website deleting Khizr Khan notwithstanding!
How does someone this stupid get beyond washing Cars?
Is this like:
“Sh*t Happens”
“Haters Gonna Hate”
“Easy Come Easy Go”
“Que Sera Sera What Ever Will Be, Will Be”
Gary Johnson is a dumba$$.
He’s cyclist Kerry combined with mountaineer Paul Ryan.
Gary on Terrorism: 'Look, this stuff is gonna happen'
Looks like a great TV add against him.
Almost as good as:
"We are going to raise taxes on the middle class!"
I caught some of this. I swear it was like watching paint dry trying to listen to these guys.
Being one of thoese antisemitic Libertarians, he’ll probably help Iran nuke Israel. And then he’ll ask a Jewish baker to bake a cake with a swastika — just as a Christian baker under his administration would have to bake a cake for a homo wedding.
p.s. There is “stuff” the U.S. and the west can do to stop these islamic terrorist attacks, but I can’t say it on the board as it involves a great deal of bloodshed aimed at the heard of Islam.
This guy comes out once a week claiming someone is endorsing him. He either never gets the endorsement or the potential endorser claims they never talked.
But, you know, stuff like this is going to happen when you’re a false libertarian loon.
“Look, this stuff is gonna happen and that’s okay as long as it doesn’t happen to me.”
A little context. Gov.Johnson was discussing terrorism and the lone wolf incidents. He mentioned Nice and said that, on a daily basis, there are 10,000 places where someone driving a truck into a crowd could take place. Both he and Gov Weld have proposed a 1,000 agent task force within the FBI to investigate, infiltrate, and gather info on domestic terrorist groups, similar to what was done by the Reagan Justice Department to take on organized crime.
“Look, this stuff is gonna happen.”
Look, there was a time when it didn’t.
As any economist can tell you, the solution is raise the cost of such acts so high that no one can afford to commit them.
A 3000 lb bomb landing on top of Mohammed Atta’s family home in Egypt at 3 AM would have been good a start.
Follow ups against the remaining terrorists’ families would continue the raise the price.
Radioactive craters in Mecca, Medina, Kabul and Kandahar, would jack the cost into the stratosphere.
Maybe a little note in the middle of Riyadh saying “The next one will land right about here” would serve notice to the Saudi royals.
But, nooooo. We have worry about “Why do they hate us?”
I suppose he does his best thinking between tokes.
