At least two senior Donald Trump aides were fired by the campaign Monday in what three sources described as a shakeup.
Both aides Ed Brookover and Jimmy Stracner had worked for the presidential campaign of former Trump rival Ben Carson, who endorsed Trump after dropping out of the race.
Brookover, a longtime GOP strategist, had been working as a political adviser. He played a role in helping to organize this month's GOP convention. Stracner, had been working as the Trump campaigns western regional political director.

Boy there sure are a bunch of nervous posters here lately all thinking the same thing, Trump is in trouble. Let’s see, Trump breezed through the primary beating 16 people, the media and the dem/Clinton machine. Once a week some joker was posting Its over for Trump! The convention despite Ted Cruz was outstanding as the ratings proved leaving Hillary in the dust and last weekend she drew what 200 in Harrisburg, while Trump in this same city tonight is speaking to overflow crowds in the thousands. We also have blatant poll tampering from Ruters that even respected professionals are, decrying.
And one or two stories or tweets is causing worry? Make no mistake, Trump voters will turn out in numbers that Clinton will not be able to overcome despite her best attempts at election rigging.
99 days from now nobody is going to remember this stupid story or the countless other lies that the media heaped upon us.
It will come down to the October Surprise and who gets blasted last.. For good.
Because they fire staffers when things are going so well.
Trump is his own worst enemy.
Take a deep breath. Relax. We have 98 days to go. Good days and bad days. For both sides. We just need to end up with more good days and we'll win.
Rhetoric used to get a conversation started.
No drama needed VT
Yes he has to be in it for the long run.
He’s in it to win it
You got them pegged, they will probably say almost exactly what you posted.
Aaarrgghhhhhh!!!!!!! Will you stop with the pearl-clutching! Every other election in the past, I understood the tendency to do that: we were always stuck with candidates who didn’t know how to fight back. This time we have somebody who doesn’t take anyones crap. Have a little faith. Stop assuming the worst. (particularly when you know your opposition is attempting to dispirit you). I’m not suggesting we be polyannas- just show a little confidence. STOP CLUTCHING YOUR PEARLS!! :)
And a signup date of July 2015.
I may smell Purina.
No drama needed?
Lol!
O’s reply #1 was full of drama.
And more than 10 people here slammed him/her for it.
Geez.
Such uptightness.
Just found a site that sells Trump MAGA bandanas for dogs. I have an Irish Setter and a Golden Retriever who will be the best dressed pooches on the block! Plus I get to spread the word.
I’m betting they are forme cruzerhoids.
Good God Almmighty. Could we stop with the “YOU’RE GOPE or YOU’RE ESTABLISHMENT” every time some one offers their own perspective on things that are going on?
Someone can be FOR Trump and not agree with everything he says or does. AND they can offer their perspective. Quit trying to be the thought police and trying to intimidate someone from saying something totally HARMLESS.
What happened around that everyone is so sensitive and so afraid of an opinion, that *gasp* might be different than their own.
Supporting and/or voting for a candidate does not mean licking their boots through the whole campaign! We didn’t do it when Mitt ran. Or McCain. Or Bush for that matter. It’s healthy discussion and guess what? Trump campaign reads here. Maybe it’s good they see some constructive criticism every now and then. No leader needs yes men ALL THE TIME. Sheesh.
All I can say is AMEN.
Cohen. Trumps legal counsel and long time right hand. I’ll see if I can dig out his contact info tomorrow. OR you can send a paper check to his campaign - tiny donation of even a couple of bucks, and state your concerns in an accompanying letter. I hear that the paper checks get attention, no matter how small.
So?
I don’t understand the big deal. Who are these people and why should I care?
Drama queen.
Trump should turn to people like Rush, Newt, and others for good advice on how to handle bumps in the road such as Khan. He could take it or leave it but at least he’d have it. He need not be a politician but he needs to be more politic, that is: “Showing sound or pragmatic judgment; prudent; judicious: As in: He found it politic not to mention his youthful indiscretions.”
Amen Amen Amen!
Just skimming comments today and jeez one would think the bottom just fell out! Wth is wrong with people?
I love what Trump did to the little weasel Kahn, he deserves the spotlight on his lyin sorry butt.
The media is spinning like a top and people are tuning out.
