In a press conference Sunday, Pope Francis appeared to suggest that all religions are equally prone to violence and that Islam and Christianity are the same in this regard. When asked by a journalist about the barbarous assassination of Fr. Jacques Hamel in northern France who was clearly killed in the name of Islam last Tuesday, the Pope replied that he doesnt like speaking about Islamic violence because there is plenty of Christian violence as well.

This is the first real comment I’ve heard from the pope about the beheading and he throws the priest and the Catholic church under the bus.
For all the whining about him being pope, Catholics ought to remember that it was their college of cardinals who put him into office.
There’s more problems in the Catholic church than just Francis. There are his enablers as well. He’s a symptom, the fruit of what the Catholic church has become.
Disclaimer: I fully recognize that does not include individual Catholics at the grass roots level, but even there, they are not the majority.
I too am a Catholic agree with you, I fear the Pope is not in his right mind and needs to step down.
The Catholic Church is bigger than the Pope. Eventually this guy will die off; he certainly is the worse Pope (yet) that stained the Vatican.
What really happened to the last pope that you guys ended up with this one world horror?
12 times Pope Francis has openly promoted a one world religion or a new world order

Tanks for dat.. :)
All cultures are equal, but all Popes aren’t.
If you look at the last two popes you will see they are from Germany and Argentina. One where the Nazis rose up and the other a big supporter of them. I looked at the popes before John Paul II and noticed they were all from Italy.
I am STARTING TO BELIEVE this Pope WAS INSTALLED to help complete the globalization process!!! I am Catholic and God help me I CAN’T stand this pope, I almost LEFT my faith because of this pope, but I found an Orthodox Catholic Church THIS POPE HAS TO GO!!! !!!!!
That’s the benign excuse at any rate. I honestly wonder if it isn’t something else.
TELL THE POPE, LESSONS NOT LEARNED FROM HISTORY WILL BE REPEATED...
“Will...the...power of Islam return... the menace of an armed Mohammedan world... the prime enemy of our civilization?...” 1938, Hilaire Belloc
(Excerpt)
WINSTON CHURCHILL:
“How dreadful are the curses which Mohammedanism lays on its votaries!...
The fanatical frenzy, which is as dangerous in a man as hydrophobia in a dog...
Insecurity of property exist wherever the followers of the Prophet rule or live...
A degraded sensualism deprives this life of its grace and refinement; the next of its dignity and sanctity.”
Churchill continued:
“The fact that in Mohammedan law every woman must belong to some man as his absolute property, either as a child, a wife, or a concubine, must delay the final extinction of slavery until the faith of Islam has ceased to be a great power among men.
Individual Moslems may show splendid qualities...but the influence of the religion paralyses the social development of those who follow it.”
Churchill concluded:
“No stronger retrograde force exists in the world. Far from being moribund, Mohammedanism is a militant and proselytizing faith.
It has already spread throughout Central Africa, raising fearless warriors at every step;
and were it not that Christianity is sheltered in the strong arms of science, the science against which it had vainly struggled, the civilization of modern Europe might fall, as fell the civilization of ancient Rome.”
