KDKA posted the transcript:
Delano: Can we bring back coal jobs as Donald Trump says? Can we bring back steel jobs?
Clinton: Well, we can certainly bring back steel jobs because once we really handle the unfair trade practices that have undercut our steel industry causing layoffs and plant closures, were going to make it really clear to the rest of the world were not sitting by and watching our steel industry go any further down.
Delano: But what about coal?
Clinton: Coal is a different issue because weve got to figure out is there a technology that can create clean energy from coal?
Clinton wants to invest in research to find clean ways to burn coal but suggests our mill towns need to look beyond coal.
Clinton: If we put our minds to it, were going to revitalize coal country. Towns that have been knocked flat, were going to help them get up. We can do that with infrastructure, with advanced manufacturing. We can do that with clean energy. So Im excited because there are lots of examples of whats working. Pittsburgh look at the way Pittsburgh has reinvented itself. I remember what Pittsburgh looked like 30 years ago, Jon. I was here, and Im thrilled, she said.
In other words, Hillary just told coal miners to find other work. Disgusting.

Nice. Put one up for me, guys.
She did it again!!??
I thought that this was just a rehash of the idiocy from March, but nope: the moron doubled down on stupid.
The enviro-freaks just own the Dems.
As I understand it, 'clean coal' technology has been around for a decade or more but the demonization of the industry by a combination of Democrats, a sycophantic scientific community dependent of grants for their existence, and a supportive media have made it all but impossible to persuade detractors even with solid scientific evidence.
Let's be clear here though - this has nothing to do with concern for the environment, it is all about the money - follow the money. Bill Clinton designated one of the largest coal reserves on the planet into a National Park after receiving HUGE donations from the group that owned the second largest reserve (in Indonesia, I believe). Barack Obama directed hundreds of millions, if not billions, to start up solar companies (started up by his cronies), that went bankrupt a few short years later with absolutely ZERO accounting for where the money went. Hillary will follow the same business model. The Clintons do, and the Obamas will shortly, live the lifestyles of billionaires and most of the American public will be too complacent to be any the wiser on what has been done to them.
Let’s not forget that it was the same environazis who drove out steel production in the first place.
Oh she has concern for the steel industry now. Another Trump effect. What a complete fraud she is.
Solyndra for all.
Coal is the energy source which drives manufacturing. Hard to have the one without the other.
Re. Speculation on Hillary’s health, may the poxy old bitch die an agonizing death and the sooner the better.
Let them work as mudlarks.
Yup. No fly ash, no heavy metals, just EVIL SEE OH TOO!!!!!
I doubt Bill will, if she thinks for one minute that "the widder clinton" would get enough more sympathy votes to win the office.
If Clinton is in Pennsylvania, it can only mean one thing: Trump is close or ahead.
Not even
More like
The Economic Ignoramus speaks, nobody listens.
I read today she 3 points ahead of Trump. How is this possible, are people THAT suicidal?
That is the greatest photo in the history of mankind, flipping Hitlery the bird. That pic should be on every newspaper, every magazine, every poster, sign, ad for the next 3 months.
Hillary’s all about “CHOICE” for ME; but NOT for thee.
I wouldn’t “choose” for miners to go down and work in a
coal mine; but it is a way of life to them and they provide
a valuable service, make a decent living for their families,
are not asking for a handout. It’s called SELF-RESPECT. It’s
called FREEDOM OF CHOICE.
Mrs. Clinton would not understand those things.
