The Turkish Incirlik airbase in Adana, Turkey, which houses NATO forces, U.S. forces and at least 50 nuclear devices, experienced massive protests this week, yet the media and President Barack Obama have been conspicuously silent.
Turkish citizens stormed the base, protesting U.S. presence there. RT reported that regional media was covering the protests, and social media reports indicated that there may have been up to 1,000 protesters present.
According to RT, protesters were heard yelling anti-America and anti-Israel slogans and seen burning the U.S. and Israeli flag.
According to the U.S. State Department, the consulate was closed during the protests.

We don’t know who was responsible for the coup attempt. Until it’s proven otherwise, we can’t discount that the US might have been involved. We were everywhere else, from northern Africa to Kiev. That one very big swath of destruction of civilization.
could this be the end game?....bammey setting off a nuclear bomb and then continuing on as dictator?...
The only thing bigger is gonna be the total surrender of our military, and he's working on that.
Think is what a combination of factors. The Turkish military was obviously planning their typical coup as Erdogan refused to abide by elections and was turning Islamic. Erdogan was anticipating the coup and may have even been instigating it as an excuse for the crackdown he was obviously planning. Erdogan was warned hours before the coup began. So a typical post modern clusterpuck. And yes you have to assume the US was involved in some fashion considering the recent past (Libya, Egypt, Syria and Ukraine).
Actually it goes back even further to a deal cut by JFK and the Rooskies during the Cubam Missile Crisis. Democrats have rarely ever been on the side of America.
This reminds me of a discussion on American-Turkish friendship between Turks and American diplomats about fifty years ago.
When our friendship was mentioned by the American, the Turk replied...”WE ARE NOT FRIENDS! We just happen to have the same enemies!”
Reminds me Turkey now is looking away from the USA.
Obama is in control, fear not! Nothing to see here. Just 50 of our thermonuclear weapons being surrounded by islamic extremists. We must be tolerant of our Islamic brothers who want nothing but to exercise their religious beliefs,,, and kill us...
Get turkey the hell out of NATO.
Get our troops and nukes the hell out of Turkey.
These savages are NOT our friends.
They not secular they are moving back to the crap hole they came from, sheria.
F-em. And our current magic negro mooselimb too.
To quote Billy Hayes in Midnight Express....”For a nation of pigs, it’s sure’s funny you don’t eat ‘em.”
the American media is so far up this a-hole’s butt, you won’t see the media say a word if it shows his approach is pathetic and pro islam.
ummmm, roasted pork done slow on my big green egg.
Obama in cahoots with Erdogan!? It FR’s man Trump who has come out praising the Mohammaden dog Erdogan’s dealing with the fake coup!
The only difference between Jimmy Carter and Barrack Obama is they gave Jimmy Carter a Nobel Peace Prize after he was a failure and Obama before.
” Trump for President.”
He is publicly praising Erdogan! Is that what America wants? Will praising a Mohammaden dog “Make America Great Again”?
Benghazi 2 in the making.
We do have a small base in the Negiv in Israel
“They tolerate us because we protect them militarily. We tolerate them because...well, I don’t know.”
Follow the money. That’s why we tolerate the Saudi’s. One money trail goes to the Bush family, another to the Clintons.
New situation at Incirlik. All entrances and exits closed off by Turkish police. Apparently a surprise safety inspection is occurring. Dang, I hate those.
