The Turkish Incirlik airbase in Adana, Turkey, which houses NATO forces, U.S. forces and at least 50 nuclear devices, experienced massive protests this week, yet the media and President Barack Obama have been conspicuously silent.

Turkish citizens stormed the base, protesting U.S. presence there. RT reported that regional media was covering the protests, and social media reports indicated that there may have been up to 1,000 protesters present.

According to RT, protesters were heard yelling anti-America and anti-Israel slogans and seen burning the U.S. and Israeli flag.

According to the U.S. State Department, the consulate was closed during the protests.

We discussed this topic today on a radio program

http://usatransnationalreport.org/2016/07/30/usa-transnational-report-july-30-2016-trump-and-russia-dnc-plots-against-bernie-mid-east-update-merkels-reckless-insanity/

Erdogan and Obama are in cahoots. Obama knew about the fake coup and played along. More than 100,000 (!!!!!) have been arrested.

Sorry guys. You’re going to be human sacrifices for the glory of Obama. Too bad about that.

Say Hi to Ambassador Stevens.

When Trump becomes President, kick Turkey out of every damn thing we do for these rotten Muslims. Turkey say goodbye to NATO.

Trump for President.

I am reading a lot of conflicting report about this airbase. Does anyone know what is really going on there? Most of what I am reading is the power is back on and everything is normal except for an on going demonstration outside the base. The demonstration is being contained by Turkish armed forces. So just what the heck is going on?

Let us not forget that this was all brought about when Hillary Clinton made her Secretary of State decisions.

We may be seeing a total lockout of the US from the Middle East.

Turkey is moving toward Russia and Iran. US assets in Syria a pretty much doomed without supply through the Turkish border. US assets in Iraq are tolerated by the Iraqis and the Iranians only as long as they are helpful against ISIS. Jordan and Israel are moving toward Russia too, albeit slower. Al-Sisi will not ever forgive US support of MB.

This leaves the Saudis as about the only ally in the region.

A week-old story but very interesting, nonetheless. Thanks for posting. (I looked for something very current via twitter and couldn’t find anything)

Turkey has gone full Islamist.
We need to get out and we need to get them out of NATO.
They are not an ally.

Reading stuff like this makes me think that Trump will never make it to the WH. I really hope I am wrong.

The coup was real, not faked. It is being called a fake coup by people who can’t admit that the “Arab Spring” CIA, whose record for coup making basically defines their mission, really screwed the pooch on this one. Levels of incompetence in govt bureaucracies have reached escape velocity. Top bureaucrats are selected, not on merit or qualifications, but on their capacity to set in motion hidden agendas, period.

Best tactical response is to immediately evacuate all US aircraft, nukes and ordinance, and personnel, to Brexit UK. Turkey is a goner and we are going to need the firepower.

" Most of what I am reading is the power is back on and everything is normal except for an on going demonstration outside the base"

That is the current state.

All the rest you read is click-bait drivel.

This leaves the Saudis as about the only ally in the region.

And the really sad thing is that the Saudis are not really our allies at all. They tolerate us because we protect them militarily. We tolerate them because...well, I don't know.

Power was restored to the airbase on 7/22.

There was a protest at the base against the USA and Israel on 7/28:
https://www.rt.com/news/353753-turkey-protest-incirlik-base

Only a matter of time before the USA abandons that base and Turkey is kicked out of NATO, in my opinion. They can only have it “both ways” for so long... ISIS will be rebranded and many of the same players will then be embraced under the new “moderate” (cough) brand, eventually, by the Dems ....
