A bloody outrage: The decorated Para facing prosecution 44 years after shooting dead an IRA killer - while the blood-soaked men of terror know they'll never face justice (thanks to Blair's squalid 'peace' deal)
Soldier C faces prosecution for shooting the IRA commander Joe McCann
The 65-year-old had been cleared of any wrong-doing over killing in 1972
Thought case is politically motivated and designed to appease IRA families
Meanwhile, suspected IRA terrorists avoid prosecution due to Blair's deal
Soldier C is a man who rarely shows emotion. Having served his country for 23 years in both the Parachute Regiment and the Special Forces, he is made of sterner stuff. But here he is, red-eyed. Tearful.
For this former paratrooper, who was awarded the British Empire Medal for his heroic actions during a distinguished career, now faces prosecution for the shooting dead of IRA commander Joe McCann more than 40 years ago.
All I ever tried to do was serve loyally and professionally as a soldier, says the retired 65-year-old, who was cleared of any wrong-doing at the time of the killing in 1972.
Only some sort of psychopath would take any pleasure from a mans death. I wish I hadnt been involved, but at the same time nobody will ever convince me that my actions on that day were anything other than the right actions. I did my duty when I was called upon to do so.

Good soldiers are hard men with strong beliefs and loyalty. This is intended to enable communist and Islamic supresession.
He needs to leave the country to somewhere like Maldives, or Vanuatu.
Apparently, the spineless twits who run the Pentagon are now running the British military
McCann, known as the Che Guevara of the IRA, was at the top of the British Armys wanted list along with Adams and McGuinness. He was a notorious killer who, as commander of the Official IRAs feared Third Belfast Battalion, was involved in the July 1970 gun battles with British soldiers that saw five civilians killed and 70 injured
Any Brits know, can the Queen pardon him the way a president can here?
I doubt he’d be safe there from capture and extradition. Really Russia or China is the spot these days. You gotta have a place that doesn’t mind flipping the finger to the west...that also is powerful enough to deter aggression or direct action.
I’d take my chances of where I recommend, only because it is warmer there. LOL, I hate cold weather anymore.
And also espouses the same ideals as the IRA.
The solution isn’t very hard to understand at all
Ireland belongs to Ireland
There’s trouble in the wind, my boys.
Yep. And the friggin Brits just refuse to let go. Ireland even did the democratic process, more than once, to leave, and England just spit in their faces each time.
It's just arrogance.
Hey Rip Van Winkle, that was the USSR in the 80s.
Not sure what 'democratic process' you have in mind, since the current constitutional arrangements in Northern Ireland, as set out in the Good Friday Agreement, were approved by 71% in a referendum of the whole island of Ireland, north and south.
He can save himself by coming out as a muslim trans.
Yes, a Clinton production. Believe those numbers if you want. The only thing, IMO, the Irish wanted was peace between North and South - agreeing to the continued denial of independence in order to achieve that was the Clinton "deal." Nice bit of triangulation.
