A new decree by Venezuela's government could make its citizens work on farms to tackle the country's severe food shortages.
That "effectively amounts to forced labor," according to Amnesty International, which derided the decree as "unlawful."
In a vaguely-worded decree, Venezuelan officials indicated that public and private sector employees could be forced to work in the country's fields for at least 60-day periods, which may be extended "if circumstances merit."

A thought just struck me... It’s an old one from years gone by.
‘Do not bind the mouths of the kine that tread the grain.’
Put another way those who do the work must be allowed to share in the efforts/profits of that work. So here we come to forced labor to produce food. How much of that food do you think the ‘forced laborers are going to be allowed to eat?
We are talking communists/socialists you know. My own best guess is... Not Much.
The next step after collective farms is killing fields/prison camps. People just want toilet paper at this point.
Trump better point out the comparable so to Hillary on this
I don’t doubt it’s coming
Anyone who thinks the GOP and the DNC have not
planned this for the non-EXEMPT is
one hamburger and fries short of a happy meal.
Ultimately, ‘socialism’ is a euphemism for ‘SLAVERY’ a perfect illustration here.
I’d say that the citizens probably don’t mind. Are they farming toilet paper too?
Hillary wants to bring this to America.
Hollywood where are you?
Venezuela needs you to harvest what you Eff’in leftists have sown!

Real socialist systems always come down to forced labor.
Fidel Castro used forced labor back in the 60s to harvest cane in the countryside. It was sold as a way to help city folk appreciate what the peasants did for a living....brotherhood, community and all that.
Of course the city dwellers had no idea how to cut cane or harvest the crop, resulting in a lot of injuries. Another rousing success for communism!
Now we’re getting to the heart of the matter.
A dictator doesn’t want any more people then he/she feels necessary.
The people are there to serve him/her. They have no other purpose.
The poor were needed to elect socialism. They aren’t needed now that they have a dictator. They need to go away. They need to die.
Welcome to humanity without Christianity.
Don’t worry, didn’t you see where Amnesty International made a note of it?
The Russians claim that figure was closer to 70 million.
But, who knows?
If my recollections are correct, this was tried in Cambodia when Pol Pot took over. People from the cities were forced into the jungles to be farmers. They attempted to till untillable land, plant crops never meant to grow in that type soil, people that had zero farming skills or tools, and had absolute disastrous results which helped account for the millions of Cambodians that died under his regime.
As a typical commie (and democrat) operation, they had people in charge that knew absolutely nothing about their jobs (agriculture).
I mean really, just what can go wrong with this Venezuelan operation?
Should have been in DNC platform.
