A thought just struck me... It’s an old one from years gone by.
‘Do not bind the mouths of the kine that tread the grain.’
Put another way those who do the work must be allowed to share in the efforts/profits of that work. So here we come to forced labor to produce food. How much of that food do you think the ‘forced laborers are going to be allowed to eat?
We are talking communists/socialists you know. My own best guess is... Not Much.

That is a Bible verse. A newer English translation would read “Do not muzzle the oxen that tread the grain”. Oxen walked on top of grain stalks within a circular enclosure to separate the grain from the stalks and were allowed an occasional mouthful as a reward for working.
Russia... Wasn't it Stalin that killed many millions of farmers after stealing their crops..(?)
I thought kine was an old archaic term for cows.
