Luhn put on the black garter and stockings she said Ailes had instructed her to buy; he called it her uniform. Ailes sat on a couch. Go over there. Dance for me, she recalled him saying. She hesitated. Laurie, if you're gonna be my girl, my eyes and ears, if you are going to be someone I can depend on in Washington, my spy, come on, dance for me, he said, according to her account. When she started dancing, Ailes got out a video camera. Luhn didnt want to be filmed, she said, but Ailes was insistent: I am gonna need you to do better than that.
When she had finished dancing, Ailes told her to get down on her knees in front of him, she said, and put his hands on her temples. As she recalled, he began speaking to her slowly and authoritatively, as if he were some kind of Svengali: Tell me you will do what I tell you to do, when I tell you to do it. At any time, at any place when I call. No matter where I call you, no matter where you are. Do you understand? You will follow orders. If I tell you to put on your uniform, what are you gonna do, Laurie? WHAT ARE YOU GONNA DO, LAURIE? Then, she recalled, his voice dropped to a whisper: What are you, Laurie? Are you Roger's whore? Are you Roger's spy? Come over here. Ailes asked her to perform oral sex, she said.
Later, Ailes showed her the footage of her dancing. She asked him what he intended to do with it and, she says, he replied, I am going to put it in a safe-deposit box just so we understand each other.

I adored Rush. Listened for almost 20 years. Subscribed every year even though I never watched the site. He lost me as a huge fan the weekend a few months ago when an article shared that he had done the bidding of Chuck Schumer and Roger Ailes, to change the content of his show to their satisfaction.
Like everyone else, I waited for the show on Monday. I wondered what he would say. I hoped he’d say that it never happened, that there was no wining and dining, or at the very least he would do a full mea culpa, say he fell prey momentarily to the lure of the social set, something honest.
When he came on, he was so defensive. It was embarrassing. All of a sudden I thought of all the other things that were newsworthy that he never talked about. Why our President doesn’t have his own SS number. Lots of things he refused to talk about. And how horrible it was to hear him return from a break and call all the people who were commenting about how horrible his kissing up to Schumer looked, HATERS. For questioning some disreputable behavior, we were haters??
Rush lost me that day. He is not the man I thought he was.
Oh, I agree. Question it.
The truth will out.
I think Ailes is looking more and more like Cosby and His Slickness.
How many women is this now?
“...No remorse for what she supposedly did to get ahead...”
Of course not. That’s all OK, until times get rough.
Then you play “he raped me” card, get a sympathetic liberal judge, and put on a good crying show.
What are the exact changes that Rush is purported to have
made in his show at the bidding of Schumer & Ailes?
Rush Limbaugh is as rich as Cresus. What sort of “wining
and dining” could Schumer & Ailes possibly offer Rush that
he cannot already buy a thousand times over on his own?
I’ve not agreed with EVERY word that has come out of Rush’s
mouth; he IS still annoyingly correct on a lot of things.
Geez! Look at that chin on Megyn. Manish.
If they were sexually harassing you, they must have been ugly women.
If they were attractive, they were just flirting. ;-)
I don't think it is related to the outward appearances of these women, but spoke to whom these women were inside...to either their need for control or their desperation.
They felt the need to abuse their power over a junior accountant for personal pleasure.
If they had tried to seduce me things might have turned out differently (I was young and naive).
But they were demanding. It felt like a kind of attempted rape.
In each case, I was out the door before they knew what hit them.
Even then I was worried they might invent a story unfavorable to me.
Not at all a pleasant experience.
I got the sense in each case that they were repeat offenders...that this was their MO.
Though I was young and naive, I had plenty of pretty, young girl friends. So I wasn't at all tempted.
That said, as a Christian (however much under the influence of the raging hormones of the typical young male), I was aware of the darkness of what had happened. In each case, I felt I had almost entered the perimeter of an evil vortex.
A little like meeting a serial killer in passing.
WELL!!?? - Waiting for your answer; but all I’m hearing is
the sound of CRICKETS!!!
Just kidding, Rooster. Sorry you had those experiences, and glad you escaped unscathed.
I was just turning things around on the gals who are quick to holler “sexual harassment” when the man is a rich old geezer.
IOW, the girl is less likely to complain if the fella is a studmuffin.
With regard to the posted article, I’m verrrry dubious of women who complain of 20 years of harassment, especially if by claiming repeated rape there’s a possibility of a big payout.
