Trump has long insisted he can’t release his tax returns because they’re currently under review, reiterating this position on Wednesday at a news conference in Florida.
But that’s not stopping Democrats (and Republicans) from wanting to know what’s in them. Some donors have even offered rewards for their release.
Moishe Mana, a top fundraiser for Clinton, has offered to give $1 million to the charity of Trump's choice if he makes them public. He joins an unnamed Republican donor working with Clinton ally David Brock who has made a similar offer of $5 million.
"Through his financial documents, we are trying to break into the image that he's portraying to the American people," said Mana, a real estate developer in Miami. "He says he's a successful businessman who wants to do for the country what he did for his company. Well, go ahead, show me the money."
The issue again surfaced this week after the DNC email hack, which the Obama administration has said was likely Russia’s doing.

This could be as lucrative for Trump’s favorite charity as Harry Reid’s letter was for Rush years ago. I believe he sold that on E Bay and the proceeds went to some military organization.

Between now and November the dems will be searching for something to get Trump on, and the media will happily crow over it day and night. They will pay someone to suddenly “remember” that Trump raped them 30 years ago. dems are desperate, and have no principles. They will stop at nothing to stop Trump.
The election is between a country overrun with raping muzzards or a country in which we can live in peace.
This type of attack should be put to rest by the IRS stating that it is an on-going investigation....

The IRS has said that even if they are auditing Trump's returns there is nothing in law that prevents him from releasing them if he wants.

I believe the story says that they will pay the money to Trump's charity of choice if he releases them. So that wouldn't be unauthorized disclosure.
Unauthorized disclosure a crime? Got to be kidding me. The IRS has already made Trump’s tax returns available to the DNC. There are no laws that are enforced by the criminal class currently in power unless it is to their advantage. They are just using Trump’s refusal for political reasons.
Like yesterday when the media will full panties in wad over Trump Russian deleted e-mail comments, and the Clinton campaign fell right into his trap and admitted there could be “national security” concerns (for e-mails about yoga and weddings?)... expect Hillary/Democrats to be HAD again by Trump! He has been ten moves ahead of his opposition since he announced. I wasn’t a big Trump fan at first, but watching his masterful take downs of his foes over and over again… he will be the first POTUS candidate I have actually voted FOR, since Reagan in 1984. All the other times I voted against! Hillary’s only chance is MASSIVE fraud... so Trump needs to fight that also... and he’s the only GOP candidate who can do it. Scourge of God to Democrats!

I love the response of a trump advisor last night, to paraphrase, that the IRS is a bias organization that has been used in the past as a weapon against certain segments of society.
I’d also counter with: a full disclosure of BHO’s college transcripts, then I’ll share my returns.
That reward could only go to an IRS employee, or to somebody working for Trump’s accountant. An IRS leak is far more likely!
