From: Jake Sullivan To: Hillary Clinton Date: 2012-06-11 06:13 Subject: CHICAGO
UNCLASSIFIED U.S. Department of State Case No. F-2014-20439 Doc No. C05791181 Date: 11/30/2015 RELEASE IN FULL From: Sullivan, Jacob J Sent: Tuesday, June 12, 2012 1:13 PM To: Subject: FW: Chicago FYI Original Message From: Rubin, Barnett R Sent: Tuesday, June 12, 2012 1:12 PM To: Sullivan, Jacob J Subject: Chicago Reading the Secretary's remarks at Wellesley, I realized that we both participated in the August 1968 demonstrations at the DNC in Chicago. We also both went through the Panther/Cambodia demos at Yale in 1970, but I was arrested and she (thankfully) was not. My mother also took me to hear MLK in Washington in 1963. Please convey my regards.
Another story on the protest

This wild likely help her with the current communist Dem party.
Didn’t we already know this?
She had very dark eyebrows as well.
That was a fairy tale last night ....just pathetic.
But from what I’ve learned is that BJC needed a battleaxe for a wife because he was raised by his battleaxe of a grandmother until he was about 5 or so.
Maybe he also thought he could never get where he finally got without the monster shoving him and covering for him the entire way.
It’s true, Hillary was the disciplinarian who got him all the way to the Presidency. He probably would have been an obscure Casanova in Little Rock, chasing tail all over town for decades, if not for Hillary cracking the whip.
Cambodia?
In 1965-66 LBJ arranged a game or make-believe with Prince Sihanouk of Cambodia. They would both pretend that the US military was not in Cambodia.
The anti-LBJ pro-McCarthy demonstrators well documented that LBJ did have troops in Laos and Cambodia exposing the pretend game. (My artillery unit was in Laos shooting up the HoChiMinh trail in 66-67.)
So when Nixon became president, the left accused him of expanding the war to Laos and Cambodia. The Left knew full well that there was no expansion. It was a continuation of LBJ policies by Nixon.
Thus we had the Kent State riots for nothing. And protests at Yale and many college campuses for a bogus reason.
Hillary went from R to far left over HS senior year and college freshman year. As a sophmore there was no Park Ridge left.
What artillery unit were you with and where were you stationed in Lao? Did you operate out of Tchepone?
I seriously doubt that we had any regular troops in Cambodia in 1966. Sihanouk declared war on the Khmer Rouge in 1968 and Gen. Lon Nol wiped out most of them in the western Cambodia campaigns. The survivors fled to N. Vietnam and Red China for further training and refitting before they began to reinfiltrate in the early 1970’s.
I just missed seeing the body of a KIA Red Chinese soldier in Cambodia in November 1970. I did see his Mao button and diary (in Chinese). He appeared to be an advisor. Not sure if he was a local Cambodian Chinese recruited by the reds to go to Red China, or was a Red Chinese officer to start.
I know about the SOG ops but they are not regular Army units.
First No. Vietnamese regular units in SVN are now being dated at least as early as 1963, if not earlier. One NVA high ranking officer/defector I interviewed in 1970 had been stationed in Laos in 1959 as part of the PAVN secret army.
This is while she supposedly was a Republican, right?
Not excusing Hitlery, but...
a lot of us did some stupid #hit in college.
It was a stage.
Like the anal stage.
But most of us outgrew it.
