The more details that emerge surrounding the gruesome lethal attack on a priest in northern France Tuesday, the more it appears that the attack could have been foreseen and perhaps prevented.
On Tuesday morning, two jihadists associated with the Islamic State entered the parish church of Saint-Etienne-du-Rouvray in Normandy while 84-year-old Father Jacques Hamel was celebrating Mass in the company of several members of the parish. The assailants seized Father Hamel and slit his throat before taking the other members of the congregation as hostages.

France has declared war on Isis they have to expect blow back. They let the blow backers in by the millions. The resistance is all over France. With 5-6 million potential evil doers this will get uglier. These people are not rational about any of this crap. France is showing that they are weak. And Charles De Gaule is not running France.
Forgiving them and praying for them won’t help. Keep them far away from you. That will help.

Senagel parishoners? I was wondering about that....The press seemed to show only whites, but the main pastor is African and was absent visiting his family in the Congo. A lot of immigrants in Europey are are Christian.
But that might explain why the church was a target.

When did I say the attacker wasn’t middle-eastern? I said the parishners are mostly from Senegal. That is what I’ve read.
I’ve also read that the slain priest allowed muzzies to use rooms within the church for meetings, etc. Whether that’s true or not, I don’t know. Early reports are sometimes all over the place.
It’s too cold!! We are looking at warmer places like Malta and Croatia, also Catholic countries.
well, not all the time — right now it’s a balmy 30 celsius. It has been pretty warm since May and will continue like this until September. We haven’t had -20 celsius for quite a few winters
