...Does it really make sense that Donald Trump jumped that far (10 to 12 points) from a convention bounce? Of course not.
The reality is, Clinton was NEVER ahead, and the race is not even close now...
You see, the reality is folks – this race is not close. This race is not even in the same city where the close ballpark is located.
Look at the Philly Convention. Do you notice how the entire venue is optically different from the GOP convention by intentional design?
In Cleveland the delegates were all on the floor of the event venue. The thousands of seats circling the floor were for visitors, spectators, guests and people who were not part of the official delegation business.
Now go look at Philadelphia. There’s only a few delegates on the floor, the remaining number of delegates are in the venue auditorium seating. Optics. Gotta keep the optics. The optics of interest – because there ain’t none.

I certainly hope so, but we have been led down Primrose Lane the last 2 cycles, each touting “the polls are wrong”. While I see this one with the same hope as the last, I am tempered by the outcome of the last.

I don’t believe in convention bounces either. It’s more like polling firms are finally bringing their polls into line and using the conventions as an excuse to adjust their polling data.

I hope he crushes her. But, then again, I think of the level of public knowledge. Then I start worrying.
The best part is that there are LOTS of people who simply don’t want to tell pollsters or their friends/family that they are voting for Trump. There’s a gigantic wave of secret Trump voters coming.
I expect a landslide. So, I believe, does the Hillary campaign. They are in utter panic mode - between the email scandal, the Bernie problems that have been exacerbated by the email scandal, the general hatred for Hillary, the lousy ecnonomy, the daily terrorist attacks around the world and Trump just continually beating up on her...I don’t think that even they believe that they can win.
Kinda brings a tear to the eye, doesn’t it?

The polls were wrong and continue to be wrong as the article astutely points out as you can almost always assume that Republicans will underperform in polls by maybe 10%.
With that being known, Trump could be leading Hillary by 12 to 15 points.

I like Conservative Treehouse, but they don’t know he didn’t have a convention bounce.
.....I don’t believe in convention bounces either.....
But there is a difference this time, Trump is an unknown quantity, who has been subjected to unrelenting press coverage as a freak of politics who people can not take seriously.
So many uncommitted people tuned in to see what all the commotion was about and if everything they had heard about Trump, from second hand sources, was actually true.
When they actually heard what he had to say from his own mouth, they realized he wasn’t this mad man from some far fringe, but a lot of what he said they agreed with.
So I do believe there was a significant bump for him, one that was not filtered by the press.
I have been looking at the Facebook pages of Trump and Hillary and have this assesment:
First, Trump has twice as many “likes” as Hillary” (9.9 million to 4.7 million)
Second, Most of the comments posted on Trumps page are positive towards him (I’d say 19 out of every 20 are positive).
Third, most of the comments of Hillarys page are negative towards her (I’d say 7 out every 10 are negative towards her).
If Facebook is any indication, yeah, she is losing very badly
Get any millennials you have influence with to see Clinton Cash and Hillary’s America. In fact, I’ll buy my kids a ticket for them and a friend if they balk at it, on-line of course. Seeing my son this week and my daughter this weekend and will have a talk about them seeing HA. Word of mouth amongst millennials should spread quickly.
I just don’t want to see overconfidence on our part...

Hope and pray the Donald has secured his email server. Turnabout is fair play and don’t put it past the Rats to exact revenge.
Trump doesn’t email so that’s not a problem. His Twitter and Facebook are public.

Is that really true? If so, it’s a remarkable fact and highly intelligent, his side.
The liberals are reduced to speeches from open child molestors (Lena Dunham) and the Bernie cultists are revolting; meanwhile, only Ted Cruz and the non-democratically-chosen Colorado delegates opposed Trump at the RNC.
Keep donating to Trump, make sure you vote, and keep working to protect conservative voters and to intimidate liberals who think of causing chaos.
