PHILADELPHIA, Pennsylvania Supporters of Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) adopted a slogan from the Republican National Convention in their protests against presumptive Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton on Sunday: Lock her up! The Wall Street Journal reports:
At a lively Sunday march in support of former Democratic presidential candidate Bernie Sanders, chants of lock her up, Hillary for Prison signs and t-shirts and calls for indictment were common among the most ardent supporters of Mr. Sanders, who arrived in Philadelphia to make their voices heard to the delegates attending the Democratic National Convention.
Hillary for Prison shirts and bumper stickers have proliferated across the country.
The Journal further notes that attendees were more than eager to list the reasons that Mrs. Clinton deserved to be incarcerated, and were quite capable of doing so.
The chant, which originated on the floor of the Republican gathering in Cleveland, refers to Clintons non-indictment for mis-handling classified information. FBI director James Comey said earlier this month that while Clinton had been extremely reckless with national security secrets on her private and unauthorized email server, and that they had likely broken the law, they did not have the requisite criminal intent to sustain prosecution.
Critics noted that the relevant statute has no intent requirement.
The chant has been adopted by the remaining holdouts for Sanders, even though the Vermont senator ended his campaign and endorsed Hillary Clinton several weeks ago.

Members of the MSM who were ‘oh so offended’ when Republican did the chant will be ‘oh so quiet’ about it when it’s Sanders supporters.
Bias rears it’s ugly head...

They will simply say those are all Trump’s operatives posing as Bernie supporters. “They even use the same chants”
I don’t want to revive the feud, but those people trying to disrupt things were determined. They are still moving as we speak. We haven’t seen the last of them this year.
Wonder if the company who made the “Hillary for Prison” tee shirts knew that their slogan would be such a best seller and uniter across party lines.
Outstanding synopsis !
I chatted with a young woman in a coffee shop a few weeks ago.
She was in her early 20s. A graduate student at NYU. Tattooed and heavily pierced. She was reading a book by Guy Debord, the Situationist (Marxist) philosopher.
I asked her what she thought of the book. She said she understood why it inspired many activists, but thought it was impractical and even dangerous in a way. A recipe for an authoritarian to take advantage of the power vacuum.
I agreed. I said that I had thought about the problem quite a bit.
We had a good conversation, and I recommended three books for her:
Human Scale, by Kirkpatrick Sale (a very unorthodox leftist)
Small is Beautiful, E.F. Schumacher
and the book I was reading,
The Way Back, by Frank Buckley
the last of which is practically Trump’s unacknowledged policy blueprint. Prof. Buckley is on the editorial board of The American Spectator and is also an adviser to the Trump campaign.
We traded emails. Let’s see if my young pupil follows through on her enthusiasm to learn more.
Jim Webb tried to resurrect this brand of Democrat for the first few months of the primaries and failed miserably. Part of if it was due to the fact that the DNC was dead-set on blacking out all candidates besides Hillary, part of it was due to the fact that Webb didn't put much energy or effort into it, but most of it is due to the fact that the Democratic Party has no room for that type of candidate.
As far as I can tell, the only types of Democrat who remain politically viable are Bernie Sanders with his repackaged European Socialism, whose appeal is mostly limited to wide-eyed idealist college kids, and Clinton-style crooks. Clinton Democrats are an interesting phenomenon: they're as much in the pockets of Wall Street and other special interest as the Republicans they attack, but who have managed to cultivate loyal voting block among mostly non-white impoverished "minorities" and various other social dregs thanks to blatant pandering to anti-white and anti-American sentiments and with welfare handouts.
I’m shocked that so many people didn’t already know the DNC leaves nothing to chance. OF COURSE it was rigged from the beginning. Did they just forget to mention that to their little snowflakes? Oh, so sad. Kind of like when they are told mommy and daddy both cheat on each other.
Republicans should AstroTurf these little children. I bet quite a few can be turned.
Hmmm... that old biznatch could wind up the scapegoat for all of those who couldn’t bring themselves to vote against the magic mulie.
MSM: Listen to the chanting of her admirers "I'M WITH HER... I'M WITH HER... I'M WITH HER."
My question is how much can they generate?
Yes. Dark. Very dark. Dark dark dark darkety dark dark dark. Very dark.
Good for you and good job!
In the last week, after seeing Christie and Rudy in Cleveland especially, I’m really beginning to believe Trump is completely serious about sending her to jail.
Once then Clinton’s fall, the House of Bush and entire stinking, corrupt establishment will not be far behind
Yes, I believe he has been signaling that for awhile now. Danger lurks...
"who have managed to cultivate loyal voting block among mostly non-white impoverished "minorities" and various other social dregs"
If the DNC isn't careful this is all they'll have.

Ooh! Nice thought. That IS something the worm-tongue press would do.
Democrats are banking on demographic and economic trends continuing on the present track so that in 20 years or so those will be the only votes they'll need to win.
