Her excuse is that she created a culture of diversion sufficient to keep her out of the loop of significant and substantial issues in the department she headed.
She is a sociopath AND a pathological liar, she really is. If she wasn’t a politician she would be a serial killer. Al Gore is another sociopath. These are people who have no concept of emotions so they imitate emotions. They are emotionless shells and literally feel the same about a human being dying as an insect dying.

Of course it was her responsibility. Oh, wait, sorry lib-lurkers out there. I realize I may have just "triggered" you with the "r" word. But you know what, in the real world someone is actually responsible for actions and decisions. It's called leadership. Part of leadership is accepting, acknowledging, learning from, and taking responsibility for your mistakes. Although I don't think Benghazi was a mistake, I think it was the fruition of very intentional plans.
Her attempting to skate out from under the issue shows a lack of courage, a lack of integrity, and at best an acknowledgement of ineptitude of breathtaking scope.
It’s either a vast right wing conspiracy or the fog of war but it’s definitely not her fault.
