Sunday on NBCs Meet the Press, Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump confirmed a Bloomberg report that he is interested in setting up Super PAC to defeat Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) and Gov. John Kasich (R-OH) when they next run for office.

Agree. Trump should play the traditional role of GOPe doormat/punching bag. That’s a sure way to impress congress.
Ka-Sick, yes
Cruz has already thrown himself under the bus, hung himself, whatever
term one wants to use. He is finished anyway.
Even his big donors are packing it up.
Yeah - just watched interview with Sleepy Eye - and he DID say he’s focused on winning first - but somewhere maybe later. I think he’s looking to Cantorize Cruz and Kasich. The other which he said was too insignificant to even mention - well, wouldn’t be Yeb. I think it’s Grahamnesty. That would be so sweet.
That clearly shows who his real enemies are. Thank you Mr. Trump for spending your valuable time and resources on the real targets.
Petty is correct
What bills has Cruz helped pass?
He will slink back to the senate more hated than before.
Trump stirring the pot, good free publicity. He won’t follow through because he doesn’t need to. In fact he should really just STFU because he is only alienating Cruz supporters more.
Do not waste your time & $. They are done.
Yeah, it makes sense to talk about funding a superpac against a pretty popular governor in a state you NEED. /S
You might be right, but we will see who blinks first and I think Trump is feeling pretty good about Ohio right now without his endorsement.
Uh no - with a couple of words Donald just told everyone to get in line or face a primary opponent and honestly for him how hard would it be.
It doesn’t say much about Trump when we have to concern ourselves with what he might next do to bring himself down.
Hillary is so beatable and why he was nominated to do it this year truly escapes me.
It’s just that it’s got nothing to do with business!!
Oh he isnt...I work with high achieving clients... They are singularly focused. He worked to knock off 14 of his primary rivals. Boom Done. Get the nomination... Boom done... Start in on Hilary .... doing it... And pummel, Kasich, Cruz and that little guy is RYAN. He will primary out ryan and the rest of these Rino Whiney Brats... will stumble all over themselves when they see he has the political capital to take out a Speaker of the House.
No chance I will vote for Kasich again. I don’t need Trump telling me how to vote.
Most people are on board with Trump. I think this is just him warning Cruz and Kasich plus those who are sniping at him from talk radio to shut the **ck up! He doesn’t need these petty idiots taking shots at him from the side when he’s going after Hillary.
Because, unlike you, we know he’s the only one who could do it. Jeb was the designated loser, and Cruz is just a loser. Couldn’t even win the evangelicals in the south. LOL.
Destroy HildeKaine first. This can wait.
What is worse, having Kasich snipe pettily at Trump from now till Nov, or putting Kasich on notice that backstabbing comes with a price?
Yes, and no.
It is not as important as beating Hillary. However, I think Trump has tired (and many of us) of the GOP establishment types or other Republicrats who criticize him endlessly and claim or act as if they are part of the nevertrump movement. Every leftists media outlet is interviewing these guys over and over.
Trump is serving notice that if they don’t get on the team there may be consequences. I don’t think Kasich will ever campaign with him in Ohio so what does his endorsement really mean anyways? I also think Trumps internal polling is looking better than what we are being fed from the MSM.
I have more than a few reservations about Trump, but he is the big horse - he won it fair and square - so watching him calmly put people on notice that nip at his ankles constantly (or act as the face of PAC’s that oppose Trump) that he is not going to take it anymore is fine by me.
