One of the eye-opening parts of the movie:

Saul Alinsky was writing his PhD thesis on the Chicago Mob under Capone:

Frank Nitti took Alinksy under his wing and for some reason really, REALLY opened the books, told him everything.

Alinsky is going through a mob expense ledger, sees a really big one-line item, $7,500:

“Hey, why this HUGE expense..?”

“If we have to knock off one of our own, we prefer to use a more expensive out-of-towner cuz if one of our OWN guys does it, he will think about that guy’s wife and kids....he probably KNOWS the guy personally, right..?”

And cost-conscious Alinksy was scornful at the high expense, all the same.

I work with a guy who has the same thing. His head will bobble like a doll when he has to talk and is stressed. Early Parkinson?s onset according to him.

The reporter obviously was the "trigger" to Hilly's head jerking reaction ..... it certainly surprised the reporter who cringed back & looked a bit horrified ... that reaction leads me to think something other than ?joking around? was going on with Hilly, whatever it was/is.

Wife is a neurologist and definitely thinks it was a seizure. An absence seizure. During these type of spells, patients can have automatisms (such as stereotype head jerking, or picking at things in the air) and brief lapses in awareness.

In an adult, absence seizures may result from brain pathology (such as strokes, head trauma, or tumors).

I saw it today. Theater was nearly full and it was a 4 pm show. Very powerful and very damning. If this is seen by a significant number of undecidededs or even democrats, Hillary is toast.

The ending was very moving.

My conservative daughter and son-in-law offered my other daughter and her husband (both lefties whom you can't even talk to in a reasonable political conversation, and HUGE Bernie supporters) a free dinner and night out, paid tickets to the show, and $50 in cash to go with them to see the show. Despite their desperate financial situation, they refused to go.

Sometimes you just can't even lead that horse to water...
