My family hit the road in the motorhome for the 2011 “One Nation” Bus Tour to highlight historic sites key to America’s foundation. It was a blast watching the press attempt to keep up with us in the rearview mirror (we made buddies with some of those reporters that summer, actually, as we found out who the good guys were)!
Between stops at Philadelphia’s Constitution Hall and the Statue of Liberty, Donald & Melania Trump invited us to Trump Tower for the most memorable visit. DJT and I knew one another prior to the visit, but we’ve kept in closer touch ever since that day.
Our road trip and that personal visit solidified my support of DJT, seeing up close his gracious treatment of everyone – regardless of race, class, creed – or dress code! Mom laughed when I showed her these pics, commenting we’re all still wearing the same clothes.
Trump is all about equality and genuine care for families. As our tribe stumbled off our RV outside the iconic Trump Tower – casual and grounded after long weeks of touring – DJT welcomed us with open arms.
Dad lost his camera along the way, so we dashed across NYC streets through the gathering media storm to buy a new one to document that day’s fun spectacle; Dad still talks about the NYC sales tax shockingly plopped atop that replacement gadget. Thankfully, our good friend, photographer Shealah Craighead, captured these behind-the-scenes pics.
Tonight, you will hear from the Donald Trump I know. The GOP nominee; a man who cares about you, your family, your business, our country. He’s locked arms with us, America. Trump is with us.
Arriving at Trump Tower with Piper – we lost Dad in the crowd as he weaved through traffic on foot to go buy a camera.
Donald & Melania, gracious – and fun – hosts! Their Penthouse is just a wee bit grander than our motorhome, but each time I’ve visited them they’ve shown a genuine way of making you feel right at home amidst the classy glitz.
DJT showing Piper the NYC skyline – including lower Manhattan – from where he stood as Islamic terrorists took down the towers on 9/11, which took the lives of his friends. This is a man who has seen evil and will stop at nothing to destroy it; he will put America first to protect our children.
My parents traveled to NYC to work as USDA contractors following 9/11, at Freshkills Landfill. Mr. Trump pointed this out from his Tower view. My parents had seen the 9/11 devastation firsthand and did what they could to help rebuild. They were silent remembering that time.
Who knew two friends grabbing a slice of NYC pizza would cause such a fuss?
Mr. Trump is surrounded by a loyal team – including his awesome security guard Keith (on the left) who always has Trump’s back. Americans turned out in record number to vote for Trump because they know he’ll have ours.
Melania Trump is a smart, confident, beautiful woman who will serve honorably as First Lady. She proudly became a legal citizen because she loves everything about America – especially the freedom our exceptional nation provides.
Gulp. It’s a bit unusual to have cameras surround whilst gulping down NYC pizza!
Maybe we’re laughing over another ridiculous story about politicians breaking promises we’d just read on the Drudge Report.
Trump = the blue collar billionaire. As my dad can testify, “He’s one of us…but with a yuuuuuge balance sheet!”
Proud to support our next President and First Lady, I look forward to him accepting the people’s nomination tonight. I truly believe this is our last best hope to unify, and Make America Great Again!

I still think Sarah will make a significant contribution to the Trump presidency and this nation.
To think of all the times big media and anti American leftists tried to derail Sarah, and now The Donald, it’s a wonder they survived it at all, much less in tact.
This tells me God is willing to give this country another chance.

I have met her parents, her brother and Todd’s parents during the McCain campaign, actually made lunch for them one time. Let me tell you how down to earth these people are, they have a great love for our country.
I also got to greet Sarah at the airport and let me tell you, she listens to you and she is more beautiful in person than in a photo or on tv.
I stand with Sarah and am so glad she is for TRUMP.
