Donald Trump thinks she would make a fine vice president. One conservative cites her as one of the reasons to vote for Trump.
Ivanka Trump, 34, wife, mother of three, fashion entrepreneur, advocate for women’s empowerment and an executive vice president in her father’s real estate empire, has eschewed an official role in his campaign.
But she’s a critical adviser and perhaps the unorthodox campaigner’s most important surrogate, especially with his wife, Melania, seemingly more comfortable on the sidelines. It will be Ivanka who introduces her father to the nation Thursday as he delivers what could be the most important speech yet of his unconventional campaign.
“I’m terrified, I am excited, I am honored,” she told ABC about her appearance before the Republican National Convention, the stakes raised by revelations that Melania Trump’s speech on Monday contained excerpts similar to Michelle Obama’s 2008 speech introducing her husband.
Ivanka has her father’s complete trust: “He’s totally left it up to me, I think he wants it to come from my heart,” she told the show.
Ivanka Trump’s poise stands in stark contrast to her bombastic father and sends a message to anxious voters: even if they’ve got qualms about Trump’s temperament, he’s done something right with Ivanka.
“Donald’s daughter and Svengali, Ivanka, is a smart, smart, smart lady with an extraordinary intellect and influence on her father,” conservative radio host Hugh Hewitt wrote, listing Ivanka as one of six reasons he’d vote for Trump despite conservative angst over his candidacy.
Sen. Bob Corker,echoed the sentiment when he said he didn’t want to be considered for vice president, but that Trump’s “best running mate,” would be his daughter. “I know that wouldn't pass muster, probably,” Corker told NBC.
“But I don't know that I've met a more composed, brilliant, beautiful-in-every-way person.”

Ivanka is a beautiful woman. But I have to say that I find her mother even more beautiful.

I like Trump's sons best because I am man-starved.
I want more men on TV. I yearn to hear their voices and listen to their logic and lack of emotion. I find it very soothing and optimistic.

You and I are in the same boat. I am so sick to death of metrosexual males. Can hardly call them “men.” Seeing real men is s refreshing.
Ivanka seems to be a very well put together woman. Of course, outwardly, she is beautiful - but beauty of that sort is only skin deep - there are tens of thousands or more who are similarly beautiful, but have an empty head, an empty heart, or both.
What seems to make her special (and I say “seems” because I have never met her, and I can only speculate) is that she not only is very bright, but she has a good heart and a lot of common sense. I think that this is good not only for her and her immediate and extended family, but for this nation - because, as Mike Pence indicated last night, “You can’t fake good children.” Ivanka got what she’s got from somewhere...or, rather, from someONE. Of course, she has a mother who has had enormous influence over her life, but I am under the impression that she has spent a LOT of time with her father...and the way she has developed is a solid indication of the type of person that he was and is. Ditto, BTW, for Don, Jr. and Eric - both top-notch guys - very well grounded, not arrogant like so many wealthy people can be, hard-working - just very regular guys who happen to be part of a wealthy family. I’m quite certain that each of them would end up doing just fine if you stripped them of everything that they owned by a set of clothes (”Trading Places” style) - smart, personable, hard-working, you can’t do better...and they’d have lots of friends and spend time with their kids, etc. Just classy, the lot of them...which, again, speaks volumes about their parents (and especially the one who makes the headlines a lot).
Me, too. And more of Paul Manafort. Real men are so attractive. I am soooo tired of the ‘men’ of the Obama Admin.

Who did he choose to take over his life’s work for him? Those three kids. They damn well better be the real deal. Donald would insist on it.
