It’s called self immolation. July 20th 2016 will go down in Cruz family history as that moment when Ted Cruz detonated his career suicide belt and created the #NeverCruz movement.
Forget the non endorsement, that’s not the issue. Senator Cruz had a remarkable opportunity, he blew it. Cruz accepted an invitation to speak to the GOP convention then insulted the audience. Cruz couldn’t rise above his own brutal ego and petty selfishness. The arrogance simply went too far, he humiliated himself in front of millions.

IIRC, one woman was a Rubio supporter. Unsure about the others, but didn’t hear any that still support Cruz.
CNN is reporting Trump is tweeting that he read Cruz’s speech beforehand but let him speak anyway.
I don’t get it; if Cruz was not there to endorse Trump, then why was he there? It is not about Cruz. Does he not get that? The country is at stake.
Cruz was there to publicly reject Trump and to green light his supporters to vote for somebody else. Beyond the pale. Somebody will drop a dime on him now. You don’t F bomb that many powerful people and not have it come back to bite you.

One of Cruz’s donors had to be physically restrained from attacking him after the speech. He was later turned away from Sheldon Adelson’s suite. It just does not get any worse.
Isn’t it amazing, at TRUMP’S CONVENTION as an invited guest, Cruz hears thousands screaming ‘ENDORSE TRUMP’ at the top of their lungs, and yet he totally dismisses them :(

Yep, I think this is why Trump arrived during Cruz’s speech. I heard CSPAN broke away from Cruz and focused on Trump. Also, it was planned Trump arrive towards the end of Cruz’s speech to take his “so called” limelight away.
