Donald Trump's most persistent opponents from the Right believe that they can recruit a major presidential candidate to run in the fall election, perhaps even within the next several days.
"We believe that it's not only possible but it is plausible that a candidate will emerge, will get on the ballot, and will fight to give Americans a better option, and so we're not giving up," Better for America chief strategist Joel Searby said Tuesday evening before a like-minded crowd in Cleveland.

the candidate doesn’t need to win. He only needs to siphon off a few percentages from Trump, and that would be their objective.
This would only steal some votes from Trump...It is too late to add another candidate to the ballot in several states...No chance of them winning, only causing Trump to lose, giving the election to Clinton...

Because, you know, the will of the people don’t count. They know what’s ‘Better for America”, AND WE HAD BETTER SWALLOW IT.
It is too late to get on the ballot in may states for any additional candidates.
HOWEVER, if the #nevertrumpTARDS do this, it's to give the win to Hillary so they retain the minority power and will forfeit this 2016 election.
There is no other option for them.

Erick Erickson and Bill Kristol and David French sure are cranky about not getting consulting gigs with the Trump campaign.
If they had, NR would be printing “strange new respect” articles about the prodigious intellectual underpinnings of Trumpism.
Hillary is supposed to be officially nominated next week. Since she is their candidate I assume that’s what they’re talking about.
I am getting really sick and tired of the so-called “conservatives” raising hell about a third candidate who will hand the election and the Supreme Court to Hillary. I don’t remember them raising such hell when GW Bush, McCain or Romney got nominated and they were FAR less conservative than Trump. National Review, the Weekly Standard, Jonah Goldberg, that idiot French, Kristol and the other mouths are well beyond the pale.
