RNC Protests Rage, but Anti-Trump Organizers Ask: Where Is Everyone?

Activists marched illegally down streets, fought with one another and defied a downtown tennis ball ban Tuesday during the second day of the Republican National Convention. But as the excitement unfolded, some activist leaders wondered where the crowds were.
Cleveland has seen far smaller protests than those at other recent conventions, despite the nomination of Donald Trump eliciting a rage from progressives that rivals or exceeds their hatred of former President George W. Bush. In a further distinction, it has also seen very few activism-related arrests.

They got busted believing their own hype. Maybe the DNC convention will make up for their disappointment.

The hard-left is crushed and dispirited. They invested all their hopes and dreams in Bernie and he sold them out.

Democrats struggle ...
The only ones I can see making a scene are the Bernie whackos.
But they'll disappear like a fart in the wind after they do their own flatulence thing.

My theory is earlier breathless "...Donald Trump will make Adolf Hitler, Joseph Stalin, and Mao Zedong look like backyard picnics..." exclamations have flopped.
Hillary Clinton, on the other hand, has directly caused MANY people die either by her acts of commission *or* omission.
She is not endearing. People don't love her, they fear her.
Donald Trump simply needs to remain on-message and composed to win in a huge landslide victory this autumn.

Activists from BLM, KKK, Westboro Baptist throw urine at each other during RNC protests...
They are behaving like agitated Chimpanzees in a zoo...

Exactly (I hope). As I recall there were some protests at the 1968 Republican convention in Miami Beach, but they were nothing compared to the fun later in Chicago when the Democrats got together.

Anyone with minimal perception over the last 72 hours or so could see that the Soros Cartel either didn't come across with enough walking-around money, or his NGO astroturf-ready taser-fodder just isn't as threatened by Mr. Trump as the media or the state and federal employee unions.
Trump may actually be cool, and if not, at least not uncool.
Or Hillary really scares them, or scares their parents enough to impress them also, or...whatever, the violence the manufacturers of consensus insisted was inevitable in Cleveland this week never materialized...
Of course, it's not quite over, and I won't breathe easy until everyone splits Ohio, and the town can quit sheltering in place.

It costs money for transportation, food and shelter to attend an event far away from where you live, money far better spent on booze, drugs, and other forms of entertainment.
Looks like most of the recent “protests” around the nation have mostly been staffed with locals who live no further away than a free muny bus ride.

I believe it’s the open carry that’s putting them off and triggering them. Like the press... they’re literally freaked out by the site of someone toting a rifle.

The media is distraught over the lack of chaos. They feed on it like vampires feed on blood. They draw energy from murder violence and destruction. Without it their lives are meaningless. They feign compassion and concern on camera then run off stage to find out their ratings.

The disappointment is dripping from every word. So far the Left is "The Monster That
Didn't Devour Cleveland".

I live in a Cleveland suburb, and nobody’s sheltering in place. But a lot of us are carrying openly this week.

If it was in the mid 90’s to 100 instead of the 80’s you’d be right. But with bright blue skies, 81 degrees yesterday and a forecast 86° today with 43% humidity, it’s about as nice a July as we get around here. Tomorrow’s supposed to be the hot one (94°) so we’ll see how the snow flakes do in real heat.
