New York magazine's Gabriel Sherman reported Tuesday that Fox News star Megyn Kelly has accused the network's chairman of sexual harassment. The blockbuster report comes on the heels of Sherman's Monday story, citing sources at Fox News's parent company, indicating Roger Ailes was soon to be fired.
The decision to remove Ailes in the coming weeks was the result of misconduct discovered after a legal review of his actions in the wake of claims made by former Fox News host Gretchen Carlson. Carlson has filed suit in New Jersey Superior Court claiming the Fox News chairman requested they sleep together for favorable treatment. But it was unclear as to the immediate cause motivating Ailes pending dismissal, New York said, "until now." New York reported the bombshell revelation: "According to two sources briefed on parent company 21st Century Fox's outside probe of the Fox News executive, led by New Yorkbased law firm Paul, Weiss, Kelly has told investigators that Ailes made unwanted sexual advances toward her about ten years ago when she was a young correspondent at Fox.
Kelly, according to the sources, has described her harassment by Ailes in detail." 21st Century Fox executives have told Ailes to quit by Aug. 1 or be fired, according to the report. Ailes has hired lawyer Susan Estrich, Michael Dukakis' former presidential campaign manager, to head up his defense strategy. New York also claims Ailes has turned to Donald Trump and Rudy Giuliani for advice on the widening scandal. New York said Fox and its parent company, as well as Kelly, declined to comment for the story. Since the Carlson suit filed in June, nine women have accused Ailes of sexual harassment during his five decades as a media and entertainment executive.

??? There were a whole bunch of non-consensual harassing encounters for women around Bill Clinton, up to and including sexual assault and rape. While Cosby may have been the more prolific rapist, Bill Clinton has hardly limited himself to “consensual” non-harassing encounters.
You are waaaaay out of the loop
Her original nose looks ok to me.
Men either...
She needs her chin fixed.
If your comments are in the loop, I prefer to stay out.
“Another lady comes forward. Its not just smoke anymore.”
And yet...when it was Bill Clinton, it was a Vast Right-wing Conspiracy!
I hate liberals. I hate the media.
I am 45 and have only minor lines on my forehead, laugh lines, no crows feet. Although she may be using botox. I doubt she has a full face lift.
“However, its now 8 women that I know of who have come out against Ailes.”
One lesson the Satanic left seems to have learned from the infamous Clarence Thomas/Anita Hill incident was that one lying...woman...might not be enough. (I refrain from using the more appropriate term out of respect for the site, not from any reluctance to insult leftards.)
Since then, every attempted character assassination of which I am aware has featured a veritable choir of female accusers. I now find these multiple-accuser scandals to be suspicious on their face.
I imagine one such incident like this.
Two women dressed like porcupines are talking at a popular night spot.
“He came on to me.”
“That dirty old goat. What did he say?”
“He made it clear that the promotion is mine if I go to Aspen with him next weekend.”
“Gross. Are you going to do it?”
“What do you think? At his age, it won’t take much to put him to sleep. It’s little enough to do to get in front of the camera.”
Ten years later...
“He harassed me (sob, sob).”
Questions that are never asked:
Did your job performance justify that promotion?
Did you receive that promotion for any reason other than your provision of sexual services?
Since other people were ahead of you in line for that promotion, couldn’t you just have said “no” and improved your performance, as a man would have had to do?
What indication was there that “no” would have had negative consequences other than not getting the undeserved promotion?
Search your conscience, if any, and tell us whether he harassed you, or you used his foolish lust against him to get something you wanted.
If true, arrest him and prosecute him.
She got the butch haircut and intentionally lowered her voice a few pitches after Trump (rightfully) called her a bimbo in the first debate. Hes completely in her empty head.
If this is true, why did Kelly not report it at the time? If it is true, and she did not report it, screw her. She should be fired as an enabler.
But that is the excuse that is given for him. It was consensual. Like he asked the women if they minded being harassed before doing it.
I don’t know much about the subject but there do seem to be lucky genes — my BIL is 58 yrs old and his face is virtually wrinkle-free. I’m quite sure he hasn’t had any “work” done....
Some women know how to “use it” whenever they want to get something yet go crazy when any guys respond to them in these ways.....
I had a female boss (pretty “hot” too) for a couple of years who was very flirtatious to her male colleagues and subordinates, joked about blow jobs in team meetings, made remarks to me 1-on-1 that would definitely be considered sexual harassment if the male boss were saying it to the female subordinate.... yet she considered herself to be the uber-feminist and would have been first in line to sue over a superior doing the same stuff with her.
You are 100% correct.
My mother had beautiful skin. She lived to be 94 and had a FEW.
I have NONE yet and you can, sort of, imagine how old I might be.
I have a blue-eyed, red-headed friend, a year older than I am, with tons of freckles. She has a ZILLION wrinkles. It all genetic.
“A gentlemen wouldnt intentionally say or do anything that would make a woman feel uncomfortable, but just saying thats a lovely dress could be triggering.”
We received a concept from English Common Law known as the “reasonable man standard.” Unfortunately, it has been almost completely suppressed.
The reasonable man standard would tell us that if a woman finds “thats a lovely dress to be triggering,” there is something wrong with *her* that she should go do something about before barging into the workplace.
Either that or just STFU and do her job.
For the record, the most Prince Alwaleed bin Talal ever owned of Rupert Murdock’s News Corp was 7%. He currently owns 1% of 21st Century Fox which owns Fox News Chanhel.
Of course not. He and Megyn had a very special relationship.
FAKES.
