Mrs. Trump, Monday night:
From a young age, my parents impressed on me the values that you work hard for what you want in life, that your word is your bond and you do what you say and keep your promise, that you treat people with respect. They taught and showed me values and morals in their daily lives. That is a lesson that I continue to pass along to our son. And we need to pass those lessons on to the many generations to follow. Because we want our children in this nation to know that the only limit to your achievements is the strength of your dreams and your willingness to work for them.
Mrs. Obama, in her 2008 speech:
Barack and I were raised with so many of the same values: that you work hard for what you want in life; that your word is your bond and you do what you say youre going to do; that you treat people with dignity and respect, even if you dont know them, and even if you dont agree with them. And Barack and I set out to build lives guided by these values, and pass them on to the next generation. Because we want our children and all children in this nation to know that the only limit to the height of your achievements is the reach of your dreams and your willingness to work for them.

Why? Because I stuck up for myself after you cursed me out for nothing. My gosh you are upset because I disagree with you? There is nothing in the Conservative book that says I have to agree with some spouse on plagiarizing.
I didn’t. You called others those words. Or you copied words without putting quotes around them or italicizing.
(btw to set the record straight I think I was one of the original Trumpsters.... I felt, originally, that Trump or Cruz would be acceptable, but I always favored Trump due to his interest in a wall. And as so many of us did, we eventually found that Cruz would NOT be our second choice.)
I think you need to post a pic of that crazy ass ghost on the subway in the movie Ghost. Remember the one who yelled, “Get off my train!”?
“Or you copied words without putting quotes around them or italicizing.”
Sounds like plagiarism.
You are so wrong, I would like to use stronger language!
Yes, New Yorker. Sorry.
Still, quite a coincidence.
She looked ‘slightly’ better than mookie as well. Bwaahahahahaha! Hell, I look better than mookie.
I can't believe you're waxing so hysterical about such a objectively trivial thing.
Try to see if you can still bring yourself to vote Trump!
Thanks for pointing that out!
Does not change the fact that napscoordinator has become my hobby, but yeah, if Hurwitz wrote both speeches, that would be a huge factor here.
She had help with the speech. Jason Miller from the Trump campaign released a statement saying a team of writers helped her w/ the speech, so someone screwed up.
He’s making me really angry, not going to lie.
I will end this post right there though, since I rode the lighting recently, I don’t want to tempt fate.
A wife doesn’t change my mind on voting for Trump. That would never happen. He didn’t do anything wrong.
Yeah, all Trump has to say is, “My wife never said, “This is the first time in my life I am proud of my country.”
That will shut them all up.
I checked for a similar third source for a while that they might have both come from but did not find it. Possibly I missed it...but if it is somewhere I did not find it in a quick Google search.
My guess is Melania's speech writer screwed up...and its hard to reckon it was an accident.
The only reason to care about this is that the black lady with the big ass may have said something intelligent in 2008 which comes as a surprise.
That’s true. I wouldn’t doubt he says something like that.
Especially since Michelle is the author of this gem: “For the first time in my life I am proud of my country.”
I don’t want to be that speech writer right now.
