Anti-Trump Republicans launched a last-ditch bid on Monday to deny the New York businessman the party’s nomination by trying to force a state-by-state vote at the Cleveland convention on the rules that bind delegates to back Donald Trump.

The effort stands little chance of succeeding, but could pose a major disruption to the proceedings just as party officials were trying to smooth over divisions. The Trump camp is said to be "livid" at the revived push.

They tried this already in the rules committee and they LOST.

"The effort stands little chance of succeeding, but could pose a major disruption to the proceedings "

Are they that crazy or is Hillary paying them enough to do this?!

The two names you are looking for are Lyin Ted Cruz and Little Marco Rubio. It is their delegates campaigning for a divisive convention.

These Hillary Clinton supporters are doing everything they can to sabotage the 2016 election, and go against the Will of the people. Do they not understand Trump has more votes than any Republican candidate ever?

Everyone of them need to be kicked out of the Republican party. Clowns like Karl Rove are acting like little bratty children that do not get their way.

Bishop Romney and partner Soros
have organized the Bush and Cruz teams
(through Cruz’s Oswald-befriending dad?)
to stop Trump for their Bishop and Soros.

Easy question. Cruz wants Hillary to win so he can run again in 2020. He will do the absolute minimum required to support Trump. How pathetic is that?

When is this to be addressed? Seems to me it should be at the start of the convention. But what do I know, I’m just a frozen caveman lawyer.

I would like to know if any ILL-ANNOY Combine Members are part of this cabal. There was early grousing after the ILL-ANNOY primaries that the Trump delegates were never properly organized, given direction, or otherwise contacted by the Trump campaign. Gov Rauner, Sen Mark Kirk, and the former R committee chairman are all dyed-in-the-wool NeverTumpers, or as I call them, members of the TrumpDumpsters.

According to a feed on CSPAN, Trump’s folks say they have over 2000 votes to pass rules. The other400+ need to leave after they lose. This procedural stuff is supposed to start in about 20 minutes.

At this stage of the game, these morons are nothing but Democrat operatives

Do they see it that way? For a few decades they've gotten away with acknowledging that they're evil by commanding that the voting fodder choose "the lesser of two evils". They lost, they tried to steal the nomination, and now they've self-purged themselves from the party. This is their "Hail Mary" pass to try to be part of the game.

Past civilizations have had other solutions, not the ballot box, to get rid of the powerful when they cause so much destruction.

“Despite every obstacle thrown in our way, the movement of all the stakeholders involved in this effort have gained a majority of the delegates in 10 states,” M. Dane Waters, co-founder of Delegates Unbound said in a written statement. “Now we take this fight to the floor.”
