I haven’t seen or heard that much out of him before, but I feel the same way. This is a serious man, an experienced man in government and with a long record of accomplishment. His demeanor and serious bearing are exactly what we need in a #2, a capable and competent executive not a class clown who got picked because no matter how hard he tried he could never upstage his boss.
Pence brings the conservative values and experience that Cruz might have done if he had been motivated by those values instead of his own ambition, and if he had actually accomplished things instead of just giving speeches about them. Those who favored Cruz should find a better man and a true conservative in Mike Pence.
The Pence pick is more bad news for CRIMINAL Hillary: she was hoping for a surprise, loose cannon pick that will damage Trump
now they’ll face a strong, proven Rust Belt governor who will unite the R’s and rally Conservatives and evangelicals.

Trump made Pence his choice for VP, and although Pence was not my first choice, what matters is that Trump felt that Pence brought the most to the ticket, and that’s good enough for me.
If Trump trusts Pence, so will I, and so should everyone else.
Why is the gap between women who do and do not support Trump narrowing so dramatically? It was as much as 75-25 against Trump and for the sleazbag and it has narrowed to around 10 points and in some polls even less.
I’m chiming in and not critical of your choice but the whole fiasco of nominating candidates to Trump over looks the most vital and only really important point.
That is, what does Trump want his VP to do?
It is forgotten or not realized and certainly not recognized that of all the candidates in the history of the USA, Donald Trump has hired the most Vice Presidents. It can be unequivocally stated that he is an expert VP hirer. We have no idea of just how many VP’s he employs.

That would have been the line of attack on anyone he picked. Even if he had picked a woman VP they would have attacked her for not being a “real woman.” Remember 2008, that was one of the attacks on Palin. So, I’m not too concerned about their effort against Pence.

Pence hates women surrounded by feminine wife and daughter who look like fresh Americana, say the leftists.

They are fishing for things to stick to him. The consensus on CNN this morning (the only naysayer being a Trump surrogate) was that Pence is vulnerable for his past pro-free-trade and pro-open-borders positions. If he doesn't buck Trump on those, he is waffling or not sticking to his principles.

I agree. Pence is an excellent choice.
