Of course, EVERY urban area has bad parts of town, even in the USA. I avoid those because I ask the bell captains and concierges where NOT to go.
You don't have wars in countries that are fat and happy. European countries are fat and happy. PARTS of all urban areas have the same scum and trouble-makers that plague ALL urban areas. But, you KNOW that.
